There are only 100 questions that could be asked, and of those 100, they will ask you only 10 of the questions. You should be able to get at least 8 of them right to pass I believe.

If your English is very good and you can answer quickly and confidently (the test is taken verbally), they may not even ask you all 10 questions. It depends on your test taker. They just want to know how confident you are speaking English and if you seem to have studied our history well enough to be an American.

There are 96 questions. You need to pass with 85%. Some of the questions kind of repeat themselves. Some examples:
How many strsipes on the US flag?
Who wrote the Star Spangled Banner?
How many amendments are there to the US constitution?
Who is the current president?
Who is the current vice president?
What year was the constitution passed?
You can find all the questions if you search around on the internet sites for immigration tests. Just dont get on the sites that want you to pay for the guides. Good Luck

What are the 3 branches of the Government? (Congress, the President or administrative branch and judicial or Supreme Court); how many fingers do you have (asked of my wife), who is the President, etc.
When they decide to test you, they will send a booklet to study. Also, libraries, Veteran's organizations, schools and others have classes to prepare people for these tests.
