I lost focus a long time ago and can't think of an answer to my own question, makes your answers all the more interesting.

Withdraw from the irrational and live in solitude. I lost the world a long time ago although many people think I am a little strange. Non the less it is well worth it.

years of schooling and experience usually go into rational thinking some get it some don't but Columbus didn't give in even though everyone else thought the world was flat .

Perseverance, when things became irrational, let your self perseverance help you to focus on what your goal is.
Logic helps most of the time, however, if you do not have perseverance, then logic will be illogical.
