It is perfectly fine!!!!
My dogs get gizzard, hearts and livers once a week and they get a whole raw chicken a few times a week.
Please do not listen to those that say only feed dog food because raw foods are much better for dogs than any dog food could ever be. It is the way dogs should eat.

I really wish people would do research before knocking raw diets and just because you do not agree with the opinions on raw feeding, it is no reason to give thumbs down.

Why risk salmonella. You can cook them up in a pan and chop them up for a treat.
You should cook chicken until the juices are no longer pink.
To BARF or not to BARF? I think cooking is a good thing especially since salmonella in chicken is pretty common. Dog food OTOH is overly cooked.
"Salmonellosis in dogs and cats
The severity of salmonellosis in dogs and cats varies:
o subclinical carrier state (most common)
o acute enterocolitis
+ fever, anorexia, lethargy
+ diarrhea, possibly with mucus or blood
+ abdominal pain (infection is often associated with mesenteric lymphadenitis)
# Cats may present with prolonged periods of fever and anorexia without diarrhea.
o septicemia/endotoxemia
+ Salmonellosis in cats has also been caused "song bird fever," reflecting association with predation on infected migratory birds.

=============
"USDA test results announced today show that Salmonella rates in chicken increased almost 80 percent since 2000. In 2000, about 9 percent of chickens tested by USDA were positive for Salmonella but the new data show more than 16 percent testing positive."

Ive always been told that it is fine.
My dad gives his dogs and cats lightly cooked chicken livers for treats.
Dont go off of just my say so, though, you might want to double check with a vet/book/credible website, etc.

It's perfectly fine, but I always freeze raw foods for two weeks incase of bacteria/worms/etc. You can also cook things like livers in the oven on a low heat until they're hard. Dogs love it.

yes! Its ok for them to eat! I give my boy the guts whenever we get a whole chicken to rotisserrie. I dont even freeze them.. straight from the chicken. He is prone to upset tummy and diareah and has NO problems with raw guts!
Its probably the healthiest treat your dog will ever have!

Only feed them dog food. There are lots of food outthere that are harmless for us (like raisins, grapes, onions and chocolate) but TOXIC for dogs.
Instead, buy them treats and chewable bones.

GOD NO! Do not give raw meat to dogs, it can make them very sick. Cook it and add to dog kibbles for the best way to feed them.
