what good is it to be God if there is no one to acknowledge His existence? dinosaurs didn't work. they spent their time eating each other. i think God needed a creature that would communicate. i believe that if a person doesn't believe in God, then there will be no God for that person. wandering stars is what they will be. never having a home or peace of mind. always wondering what could have been, for eternity.
for you atheists, give it your best shot.

I acknowledge that there is a God- and as Jesus asked Peter in the Bible- who do you say I am- I say that HE TRULY IS THE CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD. No matter if a person believes there is a God or not, THERE IS!! So those who do not believe that is your choice, so please don't think that I am one of those fundies- I am just a person who wholeheartedly not only believes in God, but personally knows Him.

I'll turn the question around: why should a deity give a tinker's dam whether something acknowledges its existence? Are we to suppose that god is on an ego trip of some sort? But the notion that atheists suffer in some way -- or in any way at all -- from nonbelief is simply silly.

God's problem was simple. He made a wager with Satan that if he gives humans free will God wins the poplularity contest. Satan said "No I'll win."
Whole idea of free will was for God to win a wager, and he lost. Yes, God did have a problem.
And now it's your problem too, cause you're going to Hell, where you will burn and rot forever along with a few hundred billion other souls.

God did and does have someone to communicate, that's his son Jesus, who was born of the virgin Mary and died on the cross to bear the sins of the world. And his living word which is the Bible, God's word given to men to preach to the world.
