This is the United States of America. We have laws, if you enter this Country illegally you are an illegal alien. Most of these people are here because this is the best Country in the world and they want to make a better life for themselves but we have a right to demand that people follow our laws when they come here and the federal goverment has a duty to defend our borders. It is not a free for all.

We can call ourselves "Legal" because we brought law to the United States of America. Before that there were indigenous tribes of Indians. There was no National Law. The Indians were drifters. They never stayed in one spot long enough to set up any solid laws. My ancestor, John Montfort, came here in 1688. My ancestor, Simon de Montfort, extablished the First English Parliament in 1262 in England. It is the one singular institution which is the basis for our US Congress.I think that I can speak intelligently about this.

People who come to this country without the proper paperwork are here illegally.
See how easy it was, I'm even working without a net. How very daring of me.
As for my ancestry, I'll fill you in. I'm 1/4th to 1/8 Native American and the European part of my genetics has been in this country since the 1600's.
My family isn't to sure about who my grandfather is because grandma got busy with a WW2 soldier and he never came back. We do know he was from the reservation not to far from where she lived.
A very large portion of Americans have Native blood. But ya know what, it means squat. What is important is the fact we have a stable government with valid LAWS. No matter how you slice it illegal immigrants are breaking the law. PERIOD.

That is just so silly. When the pilgrims came here there was no national infrastructure in place by which anybody could have immigrated here legally or illegally. The vast lands that now comprise the USA where not very populated. When their population expand, most creatures migrate to areas less populated. Same thing when the native Americans migrated here from Asia several thousand years ago and bringing the buffalo population to near extinction.
Naturalized LEGAL US citizen

blah, blah, blah Laws are laws. There ARE written laws that give the proper way to be invited to live in this country. We have the right to demand that people are free from disease and not a parasite on the country. We need people here that obey the rules without demanding housing, food education, and medical care. Reserve those demands for you home country. My back is not wet, I dried it with a towel I bought with money I worked for.

My ancestors where native American Indians and I was born here. I obey the law. That sweetheart makes me a LEGAL citizen !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!> History is the PAST.
NOT ALL AMERICANS TODAY can trace their family roots back several hundred years to the days of slavery and so on. Some families have only been in this country for a few decades (came legally). Many came after the days of slavery. SO , your argument is shot down !!
You don't know history or economics !!!!!!!!!

Hmmm, let me see if I got this right.......
I was born here
my parents were born here
my grandparents were born here
my great-grandparents were born here
my great-great grandparents were born here
etc
etc
etc
matter of fact, my mother, a big genealogy nut, has traced my family roots to the late 1600's here.
So I'm an illegal and my back is wet? Does this mean I don't have to pay taxes anymore, get free health care and just walk away from the bill?
Grow up little troll and smell the facts of the world! We had no control over what our ancestors did hundreds of years ago. We now have laws that guide our nation, and the illegals are breaking those laws!
And by the way, since you are so gung ho about allowing them here without going thru do process, who is forced to pay for all that they use? Schools, health care, welfare. How would you like it if we the taxpayers just seized every penny you make at your job to pay for their care? That wouldn't be fair in your eyes then would it?
So why should the American taxpayers be forced to support law breakers?
