there are a lot of couples in my grade, i am going into 8th, and i cant help but to think that i am never going to have a boyfriend....i mean, will i have a boyfriend in highschool?? i want one....i mean, i am not ugly or anything like that...but yeah

Wait a minute... you're barely going into the 8th grade!! I know it sucks to see your friends with boyfriends and girlfriends. But you know something, they do it because its the "cool" thing to do. In reality sweetheart, you can ask any one in here and they will tell you it is not the right time to be looking for a boyfriend. Trust me. You will have enough time for that when you're older. Right now just focus on your grades and High School. You can worry about that silly stuff later on. Look... you will not be alone for the rest of your life. I promise. If you don't find someone when you're 25, hit me up and I will hook you up with a really great person...okay. But you gotta promise me to focus on school and getting good grades...okay? Having a boyfriend right now is not a good idea, you'll just get heartbroken. I hope this helped. -LM

that was my case in 8th grade...and as soon as i went into 9th i got a boyfriend...and i had one for the rest of highschoo...basically what i am trying to say is dont worry about it. just enjoy being a young adult... at that age guys are fun to have as a "boyfriend" but your real friends are even better...you will find one sooner or later... just wait it out, dont rush!

Definalty wait until you are older. You do not need a boyfriend. You need to find who your are. Once you understand who you are as you get older and wiser then you can deside who you want. When you date, date in groups and get to know the oppisite sex. Enjoy being single. Things can get messy when you have a boyfriend.

Please take your time. You don't have to have a boyfriend to be happy. Sometimes they are more of a pain in the *** than you want to have. You have plenty of time, you are soooo young. Enjoy being single. It really has its benefits. Just make a lot of friends (male and female) and it will come when you least expect it.

oh my gosh.. you are still so young! you don't need to worry about that.. boyfriends before high school are entirely pointless and not very meaningful anyways. and you may have one in high school.. those rarely last either. you'll get one when you stop worrying about it! i'm 17 going to be a senior and still have never had a boyfriend.

You will, and you just have to think extremely happy thoughts..about your life and other people around you...also reach out and meet others..don't be somebody who moves in the shadows...try and acting class.. or something fun...that is how I met soo many really fun people whom I loved to hang out with at lunch times and stuff!
You never know who you are bound to meet in your life! Ya just never ever know!!

you will definetly have a boyfriend in highschool, your only in 8th, you just need to find a boy you like and persue him, don't stop until he's yours.
