I read a question concerning finding a job if you are a Muslim. Someone had mentioned that recruiters, employers tend not to hire Muslims due to fear.
Can someone please explain to me how they know without ever asking?

Employers can guess.

But they cannot legally require an answer. And they cannot legally discrimination on the basis of religion or ethnic heritage.

So, if they are discriminating, they're doing it quietly so as not to get sued.

If you know of such a case you need to go to the Department of Justice and make a complaint against the company. It is against the law to discriminate based on national origin, race, or religion.

I wouldn't know, We have a pretty sizable Muslim community here (judging the size of their mosque) and I don't think they have had a problem getting jobs.

I think they use racial profiling. If someone looks Arab....then to certain people they must be terrorists.
