I have a very close relationship with God. But, i have lost my iPod for about 2 months now. I have tried to live without it, but its hard on runs and falling asleep and stuff like that. I pray to God very often. But, for some reason he is not letting me find my iPod. I know i shouldn't rely on material posessions, but I saved alot of money for this. Also, i will definitely put prayerful songs on it when I find it. So, all i'm asking is a simple prayer. From you. To God. To help me. Please. If you need prayers for something in your life, please, feel free to contact me at cupcake111093@yahoo.com . thank you sooo much. please, no mean answers. i am not in the mood! thanks again!

Father, Christine is in a state of depression and concern over the loss of her iPod. Please help her find it. Even though this is a request for something material, it was very expensive for her and I know that you care for and love Christine. She really needs it and please give her your peace that passes understanding so she can stop worrying and trust that you will take care of her needs whether it is Your decision for her to find the iPod or not. Thank you Father. In Jesus name I agree in prayer with Christine. Amen.

Maybe God wants you to try to find it on your own. Think about the last time you had your ipod with you and retrace your steps that day. Go over your house section by section until you've covered every place it could be. Check under your car seats and coat pockets and sweater pockets, etc.
Check your beach bag and your friends' homes. Maybe you left it in a locker somewhere or at school?

If none of these efforts turns it up, maybe someone stole it.
If you're going to buy another mp3 player, I'd suggest an Insignia. I have found it is a lot sturdier than the ipod.
Good luck!

And since you are praying for people, please send up a prayer for my 21 year old son, who is undergoing treatment for leukemia and has a blood test next Monday. Thanks. :)

This kinda reminds me of something my camp counselor said. We were praying as a cabin outside, (this was a Christian Camp) and someone said to pray for less Mosquitoes, and my couselor suggeted that you should pray for thicker skin.

This may seem like a little bit of a strech, but there's a connection.
Sometimes God allows bad situations in our life to teach a lesson. If you pray for God to remove the bad situation, you won't get improved. Even Paul had an affliction he mentioned a couple of times that God wouldn't remove. It's sometimes better to pray for God to help you through the situation, and not remove it. As U B said, it may be more worthwhile to pray to be able to live without it.

But, in the end, it's always a good idea to go to God with everything, no matter how trivial, but keep in mind, sometimes God's answer is no or not now. Also, God may not always help you in the way you expect. Leave your options open.

I'll pray though.

You have lived without it because you are still alive. I know they are expensive but it just holds music. Buy a $20 CD player or a small radio. Or go to a thrift store or Good will or a rummage sale.

It's not that God isn't letting you find it. Maybe someone found it and took it. Do you still run? Do you still sleep? Then you can do function without music. Use a fan to fall asleep to or a radio. I can't pray for your iPod but I will pray that you move on and find other ways to function through life. Peace!

I pray and hope it will turn up, or what is in God's will. Blessings. BTW-the saying a lot of Americans love to quote, "God helps those who help themselves", is not in the Bible. It was written by a man, Benjamin Franklin.
Ps 41:1 "God helps the helpless"

" Father, please send forth your angels to find the ipod which cupcake has misplaced. God, we are limited in our resources to find it but YOU are not. If in the event someone finds it, please sent the person to return back to cupcake. We are trusting you with all our heart to do this. we are beholding you for U are the Lord. There is noting too hard for U. We thank you for you have heard our prayer, in Jesus' name we give thanks".

It is done. Once the ipod appears, do let me know! Trust, believe and U will find!!

Shalom!!!!

Don't listen to Ol' Doc. God cares about even the little things, not just the huge things. If you care, God cares. You probably don't have enough faith that you'll find it.
I will definately pray for you :]

This prayer always works for me, "Whatever is lost shall be found, whatever is hidden shall be uncovered. In the name of Jesus, amen." Not too complicated huh? Good luck.

Thank you Lord that you know we can bring anything to you, and you love us enough to know that it is important to us.

I thank you that you have helped find keys, and papers and all the lost things that cause us distress.

I ask that you help this girl find her ipod, and we will give you the glory and honor and praise, in Jesus Name, amen...
