Love is the only game where you put in a nickel and get out a quarter. Its got the greatest highs and the lowest lows, but its the only game in town.

The heart means the most. Superficial outside stuff is just that.

Dare to take the path of hard work and discipline - a path that leads somewhere.

Youth is wasted on the young.

Where human beings are concerned - everything is messy.

She speaks of the changing seasons, moonlight and the voices of the trees. All are beautiful there is no doubt, yet beauty is impermanent. I read above me an interpretation of moonlight as being a metaphor for enlightenment, this may be so, I really don't know.

The impermanence of all experience including Life, to me is as natural as breathing. All things change or are in the process of becoming something else through change, all life is subject to the Cycle of Life, even stars, galaxies, our own sun. Rocks change to dirt and sand, mountains arise due to continental shift and recede due to erosion, the continents are in constant movement, our own bodies change constantly...all is changing and in a constant state of flux. This is the nature of reality in this the Sensuous Realm.

We see this impermanence, yet what we see with our eyes is at odds with what we perceive with our consciousness, for we see this impermanence yet we perceive permanence, our view is clouded by our preconceived and learned perceptions which cause us to have Wrong View and cause ours' and other's suffering because we then base our actions on thoughts originating in our deluded consciousness...

The cycle of Life from Life through to Death to Rebirth can be seen all around us, all is subject to this cycle in my opinion. This verse is only a taste of the nature of this cycle.

Life is too short for what ifs.

What you look like and what you feel inside are the same thing.

Ten years from, you will look back and regret the things that you haven't done.

Good things come when you least expect them to.

If you are in a bad relationship, you're much better off without that person.

I once had a really important person in my life tell me to not care as much about money, success, etc. She told me to enjoy life to the fullest and let the rest fall in God's hands. I am much happier now that I have listened to her.

Learn to accept your situation in life, if you can't accept it, then change it for the better.

If you can't change your situation, be as positive as you can, because you will wear yourself to the ground trying to change something that will not.

Be good to other people, and they will be good to you. Even if they're not, still rise above it and be the better person.

Don't constantly pick things in the future to look forward too. One day you'll look back and everything has been a series of moments waiting for other moments. Enjoy every day for what it is.

Tomorrow is another day. So, whatever happened today--no matter how bad--there's still tomorrow, assuming you don't die anyway.

Without some semblance of hope, life is meaningless.
