Ignorant comments:

We still practice polygamy...wrong

Joseph Smith was a kid who told lies....wrong he was never a kid when the Lord called him.

Doppler says we still do polygamy...again wrong
We are all brothers & sisters of our elder brother Jesus.

We contradict the bible...wrong again.

The Garden of Eden is in the Middle east.
Actually no one in traditional judiasm or christianity knows where the Garden of Eden is.
Mormons believe it was in Jackson County Missiouri.

Protestants using Galatians 1:6 to say about angels of light lieing...that was written by Paul about angels teaching other gospels and not of Christ.

Joseph Smith was a bigot? a womanizer? and a homophobe. All conservative christians, jews, and muslim can be classified as a homophobe.

I believe Mormonism is wrong because Jesus teaches it in Galatians as so. “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭1:6-9‬ ‭KJV. So I would learn more about the Bible than The Book of Mormon. P.S. Not saying Mormons are bad people, I've got Mormon friends and they are great people, it just I don't want the worst to come for you guys, and most of all God bless.

The Mormon religion was founded less than two hundred years ago by a man named Joseph Smith. He claimed to have received a personal visit from God the Father and Jesus Christ and told that all churches and their creeds were an abomination. Joseph set out to impose a brand-new religion that claims to be the “only true church on earth.” The problem with Mormonism is that it contradicts, modifies, and expands on the Bible. Christians have no reason to believe that the Bible is not true and adequate. To truly believe in and trust God means to believe in His Word. And all Scripture is inspired by God, which means it comes from Him (2 Timothy 3:16).
Although Mormons are usually friendly, loving, and kind people - they are involved in a false religion that distorts the nature of God, the Person of Jesus Christ, and the means of salvation.

Because the Book of Mormon sounds like a 9 year old trying (and definitely not successfully) to imitate the style of the old English in the King James version of the Bible. Joseph Smith did not speak in old English, and why would God give it to him that way? Very ignorant and uneducated. This is just an addition to the many other good reasons you're getting from the others.

I believe that Mormonism is wrong, first of all for the reason that all protestant religions are wrong. They deny the REAL PRESENCE IN THE HOLY EUCHARIST and many other tennents of the CHURCH which JESUS built 2000 years ago. I could go into a technical examination of the book of mormon and to show how it contradicts Sacred Scripture. But it will suffice to show how they deceive and say one thing that they are a Bible Church but then teach false doctrines . .. i.e. they teach secretly that when you die you get your own planet . .. Mormon's will today deny they believe in polygamy but the founders of Mormonism practiced polygamy and only stopped because they wanted to conform to societal norms of a protestant CHRISTian society which outlawed the practice on the basis of the Bible . .. Now today they will say they don't . .. but some Mormons still practice polygamy . .. don't bother to deny it . .. this among other odd practices and clear faults which indicate that Joseph Smith set out to rewrite Sacred Scripture and create a new Bible and we could clearly show that these are not DIVINELY inspired passages but are almost certainly demonic in origin . .. Nowadays Mormons encrouch on being more conformist (surrendering their original faith founded beliefs under pressures which i as a CHRISTian of the Catholic Church would not compromise my beliefs) . .. Mormons conform today by reading the Bible more in addition to the book of mormon, but still teach false doctrines . ..

LOVE your neighbor as yourself.
Amen.

I don't and I am not a Mormon.Ask yourself these questions.Does your religion help you to become a better person? Do you feel real love when at your church? Are you encouraged to love others?Do you feel good about what you are being taught? Are you spiritually progressing? If yes then don't worry what others think! Jesus 's teachings were considered sacrilegious at the time.Different people need different religions. Its what ever helps you spiritually grow.

The scriptures warn of new doctrines....
Joseph Smith received his "truths" from an angel named Moroni.
Though the doctrines are drastically different, Muhammad received his "truths" from and angel who called himself Gabriel.

Both faiths are nothing more than cults. Islam is just more violent, but both faiths undermine teachings established long before thier respective founders were born.

I have seen this TV show once talking about the religion, and what I can understand is that all the events and places written in the Catholic Bible are purported -- by the Mormons -- that it happened all in America. In short, Jesus and the garden of Eden are not from and located in the Middle East but from America.

It's bull*

i don't think its necessarily wrong, that's not a good word for it. incorrect is a better word. its incorrect because... joseph smith was a bigot, a womanizer, a liar, a homophobe, with a messianic complex. do you seriously think a religion started by someone who said black people who go to heaven will be servants in heaven is a prophet... lmao. what poppycock. next you'll tell me that if i'm good enough, i'll be able to be god of my own little solar system and be with my family forever. WTF? so who get's to be god, exactly... me, my dad, grandpa, grandma?

edit...
to brother G
bigot- didn't like black people and ordered a group of natives murdered.
womanizer- had myriad wives ranging from all ages.
homophobe- preached that homosexuality is of the ''devil''.
messianic complex- believed himself to actually be a ''prophet''.
i forgot to add paedophile, by the way. yep, that sums it up. now ask yourself, would you want someone like that babysitting your kids?

They follow a false prophet and false doctrine. They teach works-righteousness. They (some of them) engage in adulterous polygamy. They teach lies about Jesus Christ (that He and Satan are brothers). They believe that God was once a man, and that men can become gods.
