We do tend to frown on that. You get a big Buddhist hug and a star from me!
Wefmeister- Try to find this story from a major news agency. Bhutan4Christ sounds like they may be biased and have a reason to spread anti-Buddhist propaganda, no? The fact remains that the main belief in Buddhism is do no harm (ahimsa). In fact, we look to many other religions for answers, so destroying them would not be in our best interests.
Jesusfreakstreet- Buddhist monks do not train to kill with their bare hands and China forced the Buddhists out of Tibet when they took over that country. That is why the Dalai Lama lives in exile in Dharmsala. Perhaps you should actually study a religion before speaking out on it. I think ending your comments with love your neighbor as yourself speaks volumes.

Your question means that Christians have faith that Buddhist and Shinto followers would commit positioned up-disaster murders, rapes and pillaging. perhaps those are your very own innovations and you purely prefer to blame Christians for the evil innovations which you have approximately them, besides because of the fact the Buddhist and Shinto followers. in line with danger you're one in each and every of those individual who likes to create diversions, besides as dissension between the hundreds and multitudes of religions.

Morals do not come from god, since there is no such thing. Moral codes derive from evolution, which applies to societies as well as to species: a society which adheres to a sound moral code will survive preferably to one that does not. Religious claims of arbitrage of morals are specious.

For Buddhists have a more realistic moral code and actual teach how to extinguish the desires that cause people to fall into temptation. Christians merely forbid such things and do not tell you how to overcome them permanently. To me, that is a set-up for failure.

Shh. Don't tell the Christians......they think they cornered the market on everything. Like the angry little old lady said, " If the King James was good enough for Jesus, then it's good enough for me!".

Fruits. Let us just compare Monks, Catholic Monks live in poverty, chastity, and obedience and only help others and are sometimes persecuted for this.
Buddist monks train in martial arts so they can kill with their hands . ..
The only order of consecrated religious Catholics that fought were the Knights Templar during the crusades . ..
more so . .. JESUS is the TRUTH . .. and buddists practice idolitry . ..
The last time i heard of buddists killing? there are many buddist soldiers . .. China is a military superpower . .. Buddist Monks invented Kung Fu which is taught to every Chinese Solidier . .. During the Boxer rebellion they fought . ..
I don't see how buddists are any different than everyone else. if they repent and confess JESUS IS THE LORD they too will be saved even so only through JESUS CHRIST in rejection of other religious philosophies . ..
LOVE your neighbor as yourself.
Amen.
