Last time God was at his most active (allegedly), sending messiahs, and causing miracles and doing things which people took any notice of was in the biblical period. At the time according to Wikipedia ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_population#Historical_figures ) the entire human population was estimated around 200 million. In the last century, according to estimates by Martin White ( http://users.erols.com/mwhite28/warstats.htm ) humans have killed more than 175 million just in wars and genocidal events. That is excluding the millions killed by epidemics (approx 20 million for influenza after WW1, 11 million for aids). Murder killed another 8 million. Smallpox killed 300-500 million people. Smoking killed 71 million. Natural disasters killed 3.5 million. There are plenty of other statistics. Overall, in the last hundred years, enough people have died unpleasntly to have wiped out the entire human population several times over the last time God showed any interest. Where is he

In an increasingly science-oriented society, God's nonexistance is becoming more and more apparent.

God is always here for those who will let Him in. Humans cause all of the things that you mentioned because they have free will. When Adam and Eve were in the garden, God warned them that if they ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, they would die. They did not listen. Well, as time went on more disease, violence, selfishness and death occurred.

When Jesus left the earth, He told us to do what He has done, follow in His footsteps be Spirit filled and obey God, not religion or our own natural way. Mankind has not done this.

I am closer to you than your own Jugular Vein. He has gone no place, for those who believe and have proof which is right before our eyes everyday in the millions of billions of Revelations per second you can see the lord encompass and in circle all things... If god was not around the planets and the sun and all that you see would be in total destruction and completely aboloished

God hasn't gone anywhere but mankind has gone further and further away from God allowing Satan his power over this earth and people. Satan seeks to kill, steal and destroy humans which are God's crowning act of creation. Read the Book of Job in the Old Testament.

Sometimes your prayers are turned down, and this is also in your interest; because you often, unknowingly, ask for things that are really harmful to you.

Be it known to you, that you are created for the next world and not for this. You are born to die and not to live forever. Your stay in this world is transient. You live in a place which is subject to decay and destruction.

God never said heaven is on earth.

God is here, and he is active. We just had dinner together this evening.

God is totally loyal to those who are faithful to him, and he loves everybody too much to force them to do anything.

Death isn't the end with God, either. Compared to eternity, this life is just a blink of the eye.

Man, I do not know where he is 100% of the time sometimes it seems he's there sometimes not. I would have to say he must be busy right now cause I need him and I go straight to VOICEMAIL. So, I get the usual leave a name and number and he will get back to me when he gets a chance. I hope he's really busy and not just trying to avoid me....especially now that I am feeling really bad...does he not want to tell me it's bad news? Well, I'm waiting for the call back.....

God is everywhere! He never left us and is still here and helping people. He may not be helping us in the ways we want Him to, but there is a reason for everything He does. You just have to believe. It is really hard to get your mind around, and thats why you have to keep the faith and just keep on going. IT will get better.
