The blind can see something that doesn't exist just as well as people with 20/20 vision.

I think Raji said it best( I mean besides the rolling on the floor part...lol)

those who cannot see shall be given the sight to see.
For no one can see God (blindness) without God giving them the sight(to see) and to have this sight is a blessing and gift..............atleast that is how I interpret it

I interpret this as NOT a Bible verse, but a catchy phrase made-up by a sly person.

This sentence is not found in the Bible.

By the way, Math. 5:3 reads, "Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of God." And, "poor in spirit" means those who recognize their need for Christ.

could they be blind to the ways of the world but they are all about God? Is that what it means? I know the bible doesn't really mean what it says it means a totally different thing. Or the blind that are physically blind will one day see when they are in Heaven

Let's quote it right: It is a verse in the beatitudes...

THE EIGHT BEATITUDES OF JESUS

"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they who mourn,
for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek,
for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be satisfied.

Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure of heart,
for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called children of God.

Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

Gospel of Matthew 5:3-10

But the blind shall see God....there will no blind people in Heaven.

Folly in the world is wisdom in God. Is forgiving someone a wise act? Should a thief who can do no deeds be forgiven over scholars? No!!!! But it happened with our great and crazy Messiah!!!!!!! :D
Also, it might mean that no one knows every answer, and we have to confess where we fall short rather than claiming we're perfect. We must admit we are blind to the Way to see it.

There is no interpretation necessary, for the blind shall see.

I think you are mistaken - its - Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. These verses are called the Beautitudes.

It doesn't. We learn the bible through the guidence of the Holy Spirit. We recieve the Holy Spirit the moment we accept Jesus. God is not the author of confusion. Just ask the Holy Spirit to guide you as you read His word, and He will!

My brain knows it isn't a Bible verse. My heart doesn't need to consider the matter further.
