I don't think any two people on earth are in complete agreement about everything, whether Christian or atheist, Muslim or pagan. And every one of us are fallible. As a Christian, I believe there are some basic doctrines that are absolute, (such as Christ being the only way to salvation). But there are many more things that are interpreted differently, that do not affect one's salvation (ie-belief in a rapture), and then there are things in the Bible that can have different levels of meaning. All Christians don't have to be in complete agreement to be a true Christian. And Christians are also at different stages in their faith-some will have more Biblical understanding than others. You are right about it sowing a lot of confusion though, and it shouldn't be that way.

As a man I am Fallible, only God is infallible. Man is not perfect because all men are born into sin and have come short of the glory of God. The seed of confusion are sowed by the devil and his followers. I pray to God everyday that he gives me, that one day all will find the way to salvation and redemption.
God Bless.

Yes I do look at others answers and some I agree with and others I don't.
The one who sows the seeds of confusion about Christianity is Satan the Devil. If u read and studied ur Bible then u would have already known the answer to that one.
If u don't agree with what people say in here then stop looking in this category. Stop criticising what u don't understand.

ppl look to much into the beliefs of their "church" instead of the bible. plus when ever reading the bible some will take whatever scripture they want and run with it instead of cross reference and reading into context. you have to ask for revelation when reading the bible or you wont understand the meaning of what you just read. example Peter had a vision bout meat that Jews didn't eat and he told God it was unclean but the vision had nothing to do with meat but of gentiles. someone used that verse as an answer cause they themselves didn't read the whole thing. so it was read out of context. that's how the bible is constantly getting read.

Yep ah well... It is the elephant concept, you know four people standing at different points of the elephant each painting a whole picture of an elephant, and when they get together they each have a totally different animal....
God reveals what is important to each person as they grow in the Grace and knowledge of Him....

Great Question! Can't wait to see the answers to this one. We've all noticed the discrepancies in the answers and questioned it in one way or another, but this one really confronts the differences head on.
Yahooisstupid- You obviously don't know Orion or you would not suggest that his mind is simple.

Personally I feel I'm fallible. Everyone interprets a Bible verse/passage differently. That's why there are so many denominations. I don't know that mine is right, but it's the one I'm the most comfortable in and feel reaches me the best.

I think I'll always say this, just because someone says they are Christian doesn't mean they know how to behave like one. There are immature Christains out there, that like competition too. I am not one of them, and I am not on here to win 'the best answer. Because I could care less to be honest. If I don't know the answer I try to find it, unless it is way off with someone that I shouldn't answer.

If you want completely consistent, infallible truth, study the traditional doctrines and dogmas of the Catholic Church.
If you want 51,000 different opinions, ask any bible believing protestant.

It is because few have studied the Word of God. There is no confusion, no discrepancy, and no room explanation. It means what it says and says what it means. Those who try to change it to fit their purpose do nothing but lead others astray.
