Did God not provide a way for salvation through Jesus for everyone? We are sinners, and they are too, how can they not be saved? I know that God does not like the practice of homosexuality, but I am interested in bible passages that state that these people cannot be saved. Thanks
By the way people that are not Christians need not answer this question, it would be pointless.

I do not understand what some of you have said, I have not stopped sinning because I have repented and was baptised either. ( No one can because no one is Jesus) Would God classify a sexual sin differently then another one?
I would really like to know the truth. Would God really on the day of judegment not take a believer into heaven because he/she practices homosexuality? I do want to think that they would have to stop, but that means that believers would be condemed. (And that makes little sense)
Thanks for the answers that are not rude

Here is your answer, after you are saved and have a relationship with Jesus, you desire to stop sinning. If a saved homosexual keeps on sinning, his conscience will be seered and he will ultimately deny his relationship with Jesus.
He will make a choice - keep sinning via the homosexual lifestyle or serve Jesus by stop living a homosexual lifestyle.
there is no inbetween.
Failure to serve Jesus will result in a "sin unto death"

Hate mongers such as Fred Phelps are the ones that say there is no redemption for homosexuals.
Those who truly understand the Gospel will understand that we are saved just as we are, but we are saved in order to be sanctified.
The Bible places homosexuality in the same category as other sins the must be done away with as one is sanctified. See 1 Timothy 1:7-10, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11.
In any event, those of us who accept the love and mercy of Jesus should extend the same to others. At the same time, if we accept the holiness of Jesus we should seek to be holy as He is holy and leave behind immoral lifestyles.

I wonder how many people who have said 'They will be saved if they repent' are adherents of the Calvinist doctrine of "eternal security", which maintains that once one is saved, that salvation cannot be lost. It is interesting that this doctrine (which I do not support, by the way) is most popular among Protestant fundamentalists, and yet they are the same ones who seem convinced that even homosexuals who believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior are destined for hell.
Just something to think about.

Yes, God did/does provide a way for salvation through Jesus for everyone. He saves people from all kinds of sins, including homosexuality.
Consider this passage...
1Corinthians 6:9-11
"Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor swindlers will inherit the Kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were . But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God."

In Acts 2:38 Peter said "repent"! This means to repent of sin, or quit sinning. If someone is practicing as a homosexuals then they must quit doing it, & then they can be saved! But this is true of all sins for God is no respecter of persons. If someone is commeting adultery than they must repent also. or stealing or lying or breaking any of Gods Commandments they must also repent!! If someone says they're a Christian & they're not living according to Gods Word (the bible) & not keeping His Commandments then according to the bible they are liars. 1ST. John 2:4.

Personally, and in my ministry, I make no such judgments. Sexual sin is sexual sin, and I don't care to put labels on it....and the "judgment part" I leave up to God and God alone.
I've seen a lot more damage done to the Church by heterosexual adultery than I ever have with homosexual sin
But, that being said... I would not want to be a practitioner of homosexual sin at the Last Judgment, either.
"Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor HOMOSEXUAL OFFENDERS..." I Corinthians 6:9

Jesus said flesh inherits flesh. Only Spirit can inherit Spirit. So if the homosexual repents and is born again of Spirit, in Christ, He will inherit the kingdom like any other believer. But if He does not repent, His flesh cannot inherit Spirit. He will die. But this applies to anyone who doesn't repent. Homosexuality is indeed an abomination, but there is nothing biblical to justify that homosexuals will not be saved if they choose Christ. I think we have a fear of homosexuality so we condemn it - we need to ask God what He is saying to us about it. We can't either just accept it, as the world does, or condemn it out of a religious spirit. We have to go to the source and ask our Father what He is saying.

God created man to be with a woman. He created Adam to be with Eve. When Adam sinned the devil got authority over the earth. Homosexuality is the devils doing. The devil is a liar. In Genesis it clearly states that God created adam and eve. A man and a woman as husband and wife. I'm not condeming homosexuals, but homosexual lusts are of the devil.

Oh my Dear, you are so mistaken here. God does forgive gay people, he loves them..but they must give up the gay lifestyle when they come to him for salvation..The same way someone who has any sin must turn from that sin. If you are a consistant over eater and get fat and stay that way, that is a sin too. You ask forgiveness for any sin you have and don't do it again when you repent. But, Thank God, if you slip you have someone who will intercede for you...Jesus will pray in your stead and God will forgive you, even if you slip. Ain't God good?

We are always arguing about things that are God's decisions. Only God knows the heart of a man or woman. I taught elem school and knew of horrific abuse to some of my students and it sure explained their current behavior and gave me such a heart of love and understanding for them and I didn't let them break the rules but really tried with love to help them learn new ways. One ofmy 2nd graders as an infant, when he cried , his stoned mother would bash his head repeatedly up against the end of the crib to get him to stop. His hospital medical file when he was about 7 was like10 inches thick from abuse reports.Grandma raised him after mom went to prison and was the kids OK, no, his brain was so messed up, but he had the sweetest heart. So can you see if you didn't know about his past ??? So, God sees all. Let him judge.
