1. No esta seguro de que su novia ESTÉ enojada. ("I am not sure if his girlfriend is mad." Because you are not sure, it is subjunctive.)

2. Es posible que el camarero nos TRAIGA algo que no le pedimos. ("It is possible that the waiter will bring us something that we didn't ask for." Because it is only possible, and again not sure, you use subjunctive.)

3. Cree Ud. que el vendedor SEA honrado? ("Do you think the salesman is honorable/trustworthy?" It's unsure and therefore expresses doubt, so you'd use subjunctive.)

4. Juan insiste en que yo VAYA. ("Juan insists that I go." Juan wants me to, but it is not sure if I will go or not., so again you go with subjunctive.)

5. Ojala que nosotros PASEMOS el examen. ("Hopefully we will pass the test." Hopefully, again it is unsure and you use subjunctive.)

6. Juan dice que Maria ES muy intelligente. ("Juan said that Maria is smart." Juan said it-- it's true, therefore you use indicative.)

7. Preferimos SABER la verdad. ("We prefer to know the truth."The second verb immediately following another verb is unconjugated, and for this one it doesn't matter whether there is doubt or not.)

8. Ellos esperan que TENGA mucho tiempo para que Juan SALGA bien. (I think tener refers to Juan. If it refers to ellos, then it should be tengan. Otherwise the first indicates uncertainty, as they only hope he will have a lot of time. The second is proposing a possible occurrence, but again is unsure.)

Basically, when you are absolutely sure of something, you use the indicative. If there is any doubt, hope, wondering, possibility, then it will be subjunctive.

that's a temper, no longer a annoying, technically. annoying isn't the only element that necessitates different endings. except the verb is strange interior the subjunctive (and those you will merely could memorise), you could in many cases conjugate all of them the comparable way. For -ar verbs, the endings stands out as the comparable as those you're able to in many cases use for indicative -er verbs apart from first individual singular (-e, -es, -e, -emos, -éis, -en). For -er and -ir verbs, the endings would be those you will in many cases use for indicative -ar verbs--nevertheless, returned, apart from the 1st individual singular--(-a, -as, -a, -amos, -áis, -an). to be attentive to what stem to apply, merely take the 1st individual singular (yo) form of the verb and drop the -o. as an occasion, the stem for hablar could be hablo minus the -o. Then merely upload the suited ending (hable, hables, hable, hablemos, habléis, hablen).

1. esté. (No está seguro is an expression of doubt
or uncertainty.)
2. traiga. (same reason)
3. sea
4. vaya
5. pasemos (ojalá is a wish or desire)
6. es (no doubt or uncertainty here)
7. saber. (to know--use the infinitive here)
8. tenga ( or tengan--depends on whom the verb
refers to)
salga. (para que takes the subjunctive
always.)

And you'll never understand it if you have people here do your homework. It's a real shame, really.
