A celebrity diet I read about goes like this:
1,170 calories a day, four hours of pilates a week, 23 repetitions of 20 different leg and butt exercises and five different ab exercises a day.The actress got down to 109 on this plan.
You'll note the dangerous lack of calories and the massive amounts of exercise, which is what you'd have to do to lose anywhere near as much weight as you are asking about.
The most you could safely lose is about 7lbs a week, and it gets progressively harder to maintain the loss as your body gets used to the amount of exercise. 30 lbs in a month and a half? You would have to burn 3,500 calories to lose a pound everyday with only a few days of rest.

A good way to loose weight is to use a calorie counter watch
Keep to a 1,200 food intake
Add 1,200 plus 3,500 (equals one pound of fat) ...and that is the total amount of calories you need to burn each day. Its actually really easy once you start watching the numbers and it doesn't seem like work or exercise. Its just a matter of changing the way you think about loosing weight.
I use this method when i gain some pounds. The first time I did this I went from 168 to 127

What you are asking just doesn't happen, not on Mother Earth anyway. The truth is there is no such thing as a quick fix when it comes to weight loss. It takes time and at best it would take you somewhere around 13-15 weeks to lose that much if you go with a sensible program.

if i had to lose 30 pounds id start jogging then running. hit the gym after 2 weeks. run more and more.
fruit and veges.. you cant eat things that you love.
its doable all depends on your inner strength which will make you or break you.
not eating at all makes it worse. and will have a backward effect.

Either a liquid diet or just fast. For the length of time you mentioned fasting would be fine. But drink lots of diet drinks and/or water and walk.
