Hey I have been wondering. Is it normal for dogs to eat cat feces? I just can't get over the fact that every single dog i have met never eats feces.I know it's weird to ask random canines that uncomfortable question but my dog Angel eats feces three times a week. Now I just want to know if that could danger ther health.

I have actually seen this a lot, and no it is not good for them. The best way to help correct the problem is to get one of those litter boxes that have a cover on them, like a little house that the cat goes into to do its business. After that, you need to train the dog to stay out of it.

I have the same problem with my chihuahua wanting to get in our cat's litter box and eat feces. We have stopped her from doing it, but putting the litter box in an area where she can't get to it, but the cat still can. I don't believe that it can be detramental to their health, but you can call any vet's office and ask them that question over the phone to get a more definite answer.

It isn't good for them to eat cat feces. Much for the same reasons cat food is bad for them, the remaining byproducts of cat food are likewise harmful to dogs. Stop your dog having access to the kitty pan, so this doesn't continue.

Hopefully it is your own cat.

Change its diet. It is not digesting its food properly, and the feces still smells like food to the dog.

Not good. A friend of mine cut a cat "hole" in the door where the litter boxes are. Her cats can get in, but the dogs can't.

cats stool is like cookies to dogs, they love eating it, it's a treat for them. But it is not healthy. I would suggest cutting your dogs intake down.

there are products available from your vet that you sprinkle or spray on feces that gives it a bad taste so your dog will be less inclined to eat it

all of my dogs eat cat poo. so I just started letting my cats go outside to go potty ( that is if your cats are inside-outside cats) but now i got a kitten and she has to stay inside untill she gets fixed and my dogs are right back to eating cat poo again. i tell them no but they don't listen
