Really nobody knows for sure.. It's up to you to decide what YOU believe.. None of us can give you proof that shows, God/s and heaven/hell exist, or god/s heaven/hell don't exist.. If we could there wouldn't be a constant debate in this category. Each person has come to their own conclusions, I beg you not to be decieved by people who say "I know" because none of us really do. The great thing is, you can believe whatever you want to believe... but you should not rely on ANYONE else to tell you what that is. Finding your own beliefs is a spiritual and intellectual journey... that may come to many conclusions before finding the most comfortable place to rest. I urge you to read up on as many religions and beliefs as you can... Christianity, Buddism, Taoism, Pagan etc etc Plumb the depths of knowledge with your very soul, science, history, society.. look deep into it all before deciding what you do and do not believe in. Knowledge is the only good and ignorance is the only evil... a wise man once said, this holds true in every aspect of life, and most notably so in the quest for personal religion and spirituality...
What do I believe? I believe there is no god/s of any kind, yet I cannot claim to KNOW that to be true... I do not believe in heaven or hell, yet I cannot claim that I know that to be true either... I refuse to tell you what to believe by claiming I know the ultimate truths of life, because I do not and it is up to you to undertake your own spiritual quest to find what you feel in your heart to be worth believing.
Here are some excellent sources of information to get you started..

Perhaps the concept of Heaven and Hell evolved as a way to try to know the unknowable. Read "The Pleasantries of the Inimitable Mulla Nasruddin" by Idries Shah. It's a collection of little stories, at least one of which touches on that subject.

Yes, There is such thing.
I have personally been touched by God.
And i've felt like the devil is trying to make some thoughts go through my head. NOT saying that everything bad i do is all cause, the devil. No, BUT, i was thinking horrible thoughts that I'VE never never dared to think of. But, yeah I believe theres a hell and heaven. Also, God and Satan.

My faith does not believe in a heaven or a hell, but that we must deal with the consequences of our actions in this life.
After death, there is usually sometime in the Summerland, which is a place of rest and peace before we are reincarnated.
So, life is like pinball; the reward for doing it well is the chance to do it all again.

It depends on our beliefs. I believe there is God and Satan... as there is good and bad. If we experienced heaven and hell on earth… then definitely there's a real thing.
I do believe that we are just travelers who have given the free will to choose which road to take... and will soon reached our destination.... and I hope its heaven and not hell.
God bless on our journey!

The Bible tells us that there is not only life after death, but eternal life so glorious that “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9). Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, came to the earth to give us this gift of eternal life. “He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5).
Hell is described as a bottomless pit (Luke 8:31, Revelation 9:1), and a lake of fire, burning with sulfur, where the inhabitants will be tormented day and night forever and ever (Revelation 20:10). In hell, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, indicating intense grief and anger (Matthew 13:42). It is a place “where the worm never dies and the fire never goes out” (Mark 9:48). God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but desires them to turn from their wicked ways so that they can live (Ezekiel 33:11). But He will not force us into submission; if we choose to reject Him, He has little choice but to give us what we want – to live apart from Him.
Life on earth is a test – a preparation for what is to come. For believers, this is eternal life in the immediate presence of God. So how are we made righteous and able to receive this eternal life? There is only one way – through faith and trust in God's Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die like everyone else, will live again. They are given eternal life for believing in me and will never perish...” (John 11:25-26).

No heaven, no hell, no god, no gods, no magic tricks and invisible old man up in the sky. There are fantasies afoot amongst a galloping gaggle of right-wing fundamentalists with room temperature IQs.

Heaven and hell exist. If the word of God said it so it shall be done. Those that oppose it think it will go away...but it shall remain even after Jesus returns.

Hello, James:
I don't blame you for not knowing for certain if there is a God. Preachers do not present the truth in a believable manner, and much of what they teach is tradition instead of Bible fact.
I was an atheist for three decades, and then searched for God in His Bible. It says in Jeremiah 29:13 "And ye shall seek me, and find [me], when ye shall search for me with all your heart."
As I studied, a question stuck in my mind: "Who do you think I am, Peter", said Jesus. When Peter said "You are the Son of God," Jesus responded: "I did not reveal that to you, but the Holy Spirit."
This tells you that God calls you when you are ready for greater truths. He will put evidence in front of you when you are "hungering and thirsting after righteousness."
And many are at that point--they are tired of fables and looking for the truth. That is why God closed one part of the Bible until "the end of the days"--that is now!

You will be amazed as God reveals His entire plan of salvation for you.
