I've got most of the big things picked out. Dresses ~ spaghetti straps
Flowers ~ white lillies
Colors ~ midnight blue & sliver

I just can't pick a day. I'm hoping that if I can get a time of year or season, I'll be able to pick a date.

September would be an appropriate month for those colors...afterall...September's stone is sapphire...

But that color scheme would also work very well for winter ...especially w/using silver...it could be made to look very "icey" and elegant.

I'm getting married this Sept and I orig. planned on using a dark indigo blue myself...but since we're planning both wedding and reception for outdoors at my parents farm in the orchard yard, we've dedided on cranberry. But I still love the blue/silver combo!

Colder season like Fall or Winter.

Really though you don't have to match colors to the season unless you really want to. Avoid holidays like New Years. Places are booked up fast and there is lots of business to go around so prices are higher. If you can catch them in the off season, say Janurary you can have a much more extravagant wedding for the same price tag.

Those are the colors for my wedding too, and I am having it December 16, 2007. Those are good colors for a late fall or a winter. But honestly, you shouldn't base the date of your wedding on your colors. Those colors would be good for an evening wedding any time of the year. Just give yourself enough time to plan and get ready for the wedding. Congratulations and good luck!

If you like the colors, anytime! Those colors are especially nice for winter. Check though to see when the lillies are in season and available from a florist. Spaghetti straps might be chilly in the winter though w/o a wrap.

The color of the dresses doesn't have to do anything with the season. You pick the colors because you like them, which is what you have done. So any time of year would be fine for those colors.

I have done 2 midnight blue one with silver, and one with white, both were Winter Weddings. And both turned out lovely. Best Wishes.

I was thinking about having my wedding in December, before Christmas and using those colours. its a beautiful winter combo. I remember my high school winter ball was done up in those colours and the theme was Mignight under the mistletoe and it was gorgeous because its not Christmas colours, but makes a great winter wedding. I ended up getting married in March instead though and used silver and pink.

I'd say September or October, with spaghetti straps and the colors...

Hmmm...get married on a date that's "Once in a blue moon"....because you're only getting married once, and you've got midnight blue and silver...like the sky and the moon. :)

Wish you my best! The colors sound so pretty! :)

Any day and any time of the year. Those colors can be worn anytime. The speghetti straps do suggest spring/summer, but not necessarily.
