It could work. I don't think the age difference is what would be the problem though. I think if they are at the same stage in life and are heading the same direction, it could work. However, often someone who is 20 years old is in college or just in a different stage of life than someone who is 30. That could make it hard. But anything is possible.

Yeah, it can... but if you mean by "work" that you will get married, have kids, live a long healthy life together, and die side-by-side on your hundredth birthday, holding hands, in your sleep... my answer is no. Not to be negative or anything, but MOST relationships don't work. Married or unmarried.

However, if that's what you are looking for, remember that all relationships are work. If the two end up married, I hope that they always remember to work at the relationship, live for yourselves and for each other, love and serve God, and remember that marriage is not just a vow to yourselves to stay together, but to God and to the world. It is forever.

I've been married 7 years. My spouse is 48 and I am 34. We have been together since I was 21. If you love and respect each other and give your life to God to do with what he pleases, I would say yeah it can work. Good luck

its unlikely that they will be together forever, but if they really care about eachother, does age matter??? my friends parents are 7 years apart. and sort-of-friend of mine has parents who are 11 years apart. I dont think age matters when it comes to love and care (maybe like 60 years apart is kinda weird tho, lol!) thats what i think. Hey Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have an age difference. (Demi was 40 and Ashton was 25 when they got married)

Age is just a number.

In a 100 years, we will all be dead. To be alive in the same lifetime is magical in itself.

If you really love each other, nothing will keep you apart.

Probably not for very long. There is too much age difference. You will have different likes and dislikes as well as thoughts on money, investing, spending, saving, etc. You won't like her friends and she won't like your friends.
