my bf ask me to marry him.. i said yes,,now i understand not telling people we work with .. cause they pushed hard for this.. but when he asked me i told my daughters.. it has been a month he has not told any family .. not even his twin..he says he has not had the time// but he tells them about all the goings on at work.. wtf.. red flags.. .. should i just tell him to go back to gf and bf

How many times will you be asking this question? I think most men ask their families what they think about him marrying the girl before he actually asks the girl. If he hasn't done that then my previous answer stands and he's probably not serious about marrying you.

Myself, I think I'd be a little bummed out if I were you. When I proposed, I couldn't wait to start telling everyone! I even told a few close friends BEFORE I did it.
If this WAS a case of him feeling "pressured" into action, then he's probably not in a great space about the whole thing, and would rather stay in a bit of denial, rather than telling everyone about it.

He seems to have asked you because he felt he had to. He hasn't told his family, because he does not want to get married, and may never. You have some serious thinking to do. I think the red flags are significant.

u already in different situation. Have u set ur wedding date?Give him time to do it, yet u have to give time limit such as when u guys have 2 finish settle things for the big day , so u both can directly go to the ceremony.This will help make things clear if he serious or not.

Well truthfully, as of right now your JUST engaged. My sisters engaged, and shes not getting married till she finishes college. Being engaged is just showing your ready to take the relationship to the next level, marriage doesnt have to be right away :P

No that's just a guy thing...he's scared to say it that's all. I'm the same way, I would be scared to tell people because of all the "awww that's so beautiful", "awwww that's so sweeet" bull crap...he probably just doesn't want to hear the crap from people whether good or bad....plus it's a mushy subject, maybe he just expects you to tell everyone..haha
