Who else was shocked by JAG just now on the Next Food Network Star? I was. I have absolutely no respect for him now, after fabricating his story. Who do you think will win? Personally, I think Rory...

I was surprised by Jag. I thought he had a lot of personality and was a good chef - although pretty temperamental. Amy has been my favorite for the past few weeks, though, and I'm glad she's back. I think she'll win. Rory is a little annoying (too much like Rachael Ray), and I can't imagine watching a regular show with her. She'd get on my nerves. Amy is much more likeable.

I was not in any way shocked. He seemed so fake right from the start. Blowing hot air all around. I would like to know exactly how long he was a Marine, he never really struck me as one. I bet he went to boot camp, couldn't hack it and got out. I think he had some great ideas and techniques for cooking but he had way too many personal issues to be on TV and when he kept saying how he didn't want to talk about his background, well you just knew something was up. And not to mention his anger issues and the attitude that the world is against him. And while that pussy wishes he had honorably served his country. My 23 year old daughter has been deployed twice in this war, once to Iraq where she was a convoy gunner, something that puss would pee his pants to even think about and my 18 year old son joined the Army Reserves as a freaking 17 year old and by his choice joined the infantry! So I have no respect whatsoever for Josh, who wants to be known as Jag to look like tough guy. LOL anyone who wears that much gold jewlery and greases his hair back probably gets the crap kicked out of him a lot. Talk about an unmanly man. I never have like Rory either just because every damn time she speaks to the camera she is all about how she'll just flirt or smile to get by. HUH? Yet every time she did this it seemed to fail miserable and I don't think she has a style of cooking yet. And man, that food she made on Rachel Ray's! Whoa! Was the butter on everything???

I really didn't like any of the choices this time. I am glad JAG is out of the picture now though. It's a shame he thought he had to lie. He blew the chance of a lifetime, it looks like he might have won this thing if he had not misrepresented himself. The military times board had quite a few people posting that knew him. How could he think he would go on national television and no one would call him on a lie?

I was shsocked. I just don't understand the reason of the lies, Amy and Paul and Adrian for example never went to culinary school and no one there went to Afghanistan, and were still eligible to compete. Why did he think he had to lie?
I would prefer Amy to win, but the fair would be Rory. And actually I really want to taste the asparagus with sugar she did on Rachael Ray

I never liked JAG. He was never the same twice. Regardless of who is at fault, at least he is out of the running. One thing that bothers me is that others were eliminated in favor of him, and it's a shame they can't have a "do over." Whoever wins, wins. But I find Rory loud and pushy, (like the way she shoved Rachael Ray out of the way during her demo).

We all know that it is hard for Blacks, Hispanics, and other people of non white to make it. And he lied in order to
be on top.
JAG should have stay in the Army and go Culinary School and then try out to be on Food Network Star.
But anyway... I wish he didn't resign. I really wish he stay and win this....
Rory, yuck. A quitter. And plus she can't even do the camera thing right, always looking uncomfortable and nervous
And Amy, BORING, boo hoo I miss my family, I wanna go home!!!!
If JAG ever own a Restuarant, I'll go and eat there and show him my SUPPORT!!! Cause nobody is perfect.

not shocked but mad.other people were voted off that were far better in the competition than JAG ever was.i see JAG as a temperamental little phony with a child like attitude.Paul,Adrien ,Amy and even Michael were more deserving of a chance.funny thing the last thing JAG did with Rachel Ray was really good but Amy was better.i think AMY will win and i think she should win.i think JAG should be embarrassed and ashamed, good riddance!

I was sad I actually liked jag and he grew on me. But now that these events have come to the fore front I don't know I feel kind of ashamed for liking him and really just feel sad that he just wasted a great opportunity because of two stupid lies.
Ah well I think Rory will win it.
yay for random thumbs down....

I was disappointed by his fabrications.
I still think Amy should win, though- I would like to know how to make gourmet food every day! Rory rubs me the wrong way. not sure why.....just seems a little fake to me.

I couldn't believe that they didn't kick the creep off weeks ago. He's a pouty, whiny, baby. He's keeps screwing up time after time. Rory's obnoxious. I thought Amy had it in the bag.
I really don't care whether it's Jag or Rory. I sure won't watch.
