What you are hearing is the back tires scrubbing because of the limited slip rear axle in your truck. Go to Autozone and have them print you Ford TSB 06-4-4 it will explain the problem and how to fix it. Fords solution is to replace the differential clutch packs but if it was mine I would get 2 bottles of limited slip additive and put it in the rear axle them drive it for a while and see if your problem gets better.

Biker trash and red 50 is right about a scrubbing noise from the rear on turns being the rear end...

Where I'm at however, It's been 50/50 on the posi-trac fluid... sometimes it does work, other times It winds up needing the new clutches as it's gone to far for the lube to work right.

Biker trash is right it sounds like the rear end to me and I've seen a lot of them doing this. A bottle of Ford's friction modifier for limited slip rear ends should take care of it for you unless it's still under warranty then let them fix it however they want.

Check the brake dust shield for the rotor. Make sure it isn't scrubbing the rotor.

it could be your bearings going out ,or your stabilizer bar bushings . JB Lock say it is your cv axle but hey it is 2 wheel drive.

It could be the CV joint boot.
