The Romans Road to salvation is a way of explaining the good news of salvation using verses from the Book of Romans. It is a simple yet powerful method of explaining why we need salvation, how God provided salvation, how we can receive salvation, and what are the results of salvation.
The first verse on the Romans Road to salvation is Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." We have all sinned. We have all done things that are displeasing to God. There is no one who is innocent. Romans 3:10-18 gives a detailed picture of what sin looks like in our lives. The second Scripture on the Romans Road to salvation, Romans 6:23, teaches us about the consequences of sin - "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." The punishment that we have earned for our sins is death. Not just physical death, but eternal death!
The third verse on the Romans road to salvation picks up where Romans 6:23 left off, "but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 5:8 declares, "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Jesus Christ died for us! Jesus' death paid for the price of our sins. Jesus' resurrection proves that God accepted Jesus' death as the payment for our sins.
The fourth stop on the Romans road to salvation is Romans 10:9, "that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Because of Jesus' death on our behalf, all we have to do is believe in Him, trusting His death as the payment for our sins - and we will be saved! Romans 10:13 says it again, "for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Jesus died to pay the penalty for our sins and rescue us from eternal death. Salvation, the forgiveness of sins, is available to anyone who will trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
The final aspect of the Romans road to salvation is the results of salvation. Romans 5:1 has this wonderful message, "Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Through Jesus Christ we can have a relationship of peace with God. Romans 8:1 teaches us, "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Because of Jesus' death on our behalf, we will never be condemned for our sins. Finally, we have this precious promise of God from Romans 8:38-39, "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Romans Road was taught at our church last week.
Rom 3-10, 3-23, 6-23, 5-8, 10-13, 10-19
People need to know
1. God loves them.
2. That their sin separates them from God.
3. That their is only one way to God.
4. That with reconciliation, the Holy Spirit indwells the believer.
5. That the Savior must be made Lord of their life.
Give them your testimony indicating how you came to Christ and the differences in your life without focusing too much on the past. Don't talk too long or they will stop listening. Indicate that they are offered the same hope.
Here is the Gospel road.
John 3-26
Rom 3-16
Rom 6-23
John 10-10
John 14-3
Eph 2:8
Rom 6-23
John 14-6

Unsaved people? Oh! You mean those people that have not hear the glorious truth. The truth that can set them free. The truth that will deliver them from a life of lies and slavery and bring them into a life with meaning and purpose. You mean all those poor diluted Christians that still believe in the lies of the bible. How can ANYONE be so stupid as to believe the bible. It's a book of mythology. You may as well believe in the teaching of Zeus or Amun-Ra.
But if ignorance and foolishness is what makes you happy, then evil is what you are. Evil to the Nth degree, but I am happy to sit by and let you be evil so long as you aren’t trying to pass your evil to others. Leave the free alone. Haven't you Christians done enough harm already?

First the pointers. :)
Be patient, be persistent, be prayerful.
Also, realize where you friend is coming from spiritually and adapt to it. If you are dealing with someone that does not believe in the authority of the Bible you have to start way before the Roman's Road and show them that A. There is one God. B. The Bible is His inspired word.
Finally, after you have presented the entire Gospel, give them an invitation to personally receive salvation through faith alone in Jesus alone.
As for the verses to the "Roman's Road". There are variations. This is the quickest one.
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates his love towards us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 10:9-10
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.
For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confesses unto salvation.
Romans 10:13
For whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

well, one good thing is to always "speak the word in love", like the Lord himself said to do.
it seems as if society is beginning to hate Christians more and more, but God said that is going to happen regardless (Marvel not, brethren, if the world hate you; I John 3:13). We need to make sure we are always speaking from a place of love and compassion for the unsaved, and not judging or condemning others, saved or unsaved. Maybe this way we can disspell the lies and hatred of our faith and show the world that we are about love and forgiveness...
Hope that helps a little?

I'm sorry you have to have so many negative answers! Witnessing to people really is only effective if they ask first, even if it is "I'm at the end of my rope! I don't know where to turn!" Perfect invitation to witness Christ's love. Never be judgmental of another's life. Just be sure to tell them that no matter what they've done, Jesus is there to listen and forgive. Good luck! Sorry I don't know what you mean by the Romans 'Road'.

I don't know what you mean by "Romans Road" sorry. Witnessing to people is one of the most hard things to do in life. Listen to the holy spirit and He will guide you. Just spend a lot of time in the Word and in prayer so that you will be prepared.

You should be careful about what you teach to others.
Romans was not written as a guide to salvation. Paul wrote it to the church in Rome. These people were already saved.
The book of Acts tells how to be saved.
Acts 2:38-39 Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call."
Peter said this promise is for all whom the Lord our God will call.
Paul dies talk in Romans about several things reminding the Romans of their calling. In Romans 6:1-4, how does Paul say we enter into Jesus death? Through baptism, not some sinners prayer or accepting Jesus into your heart.
You have to be careful that you take the bible in context. Who was romans written to? why was it written? etc...
Please don't tell ANYONE the Romans road. Tell them the true gospel. The promise that was for all whom the Lord would call. You should really study this out more. Please!
It's all there in black and white

Ok, I'm 15, and a year ago I started asking a bunch of questions to my youth pastor and he finally stopped me and said "what have you read about this subject?" and I knew then and there that I had done wrong by going to another person instead of God, and I read up on the subject. So what have you read on this?
But before that then I was having a hard time with someone, trying to convince them that God does exist, and I went to my youth pastor and he said "how do you prove a lion is real? You let it out of it's cage" You can't make people believe what they wont. You need to have a strong relationship with God before you can teach or show someone how to have any relationship with him. And don't go to other people for the answers you want like I did, go read the bible and ask the only one who can really help you. (God..duh.)
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.
the courage to change the things I can.
and the wisdom to know the difference.
