Do fashion and foods around the world. Have a picture of what people in different countries wear and eat.

Make a globe and have die cut people in various skin tones hand in hand around the globe. You can label it "One World many Cultures".

The flags would be great and even better if the kids made it themselves using art or craft papers. Let kids be involved featuring different artworks as part of the decoration. Some can paint pictures of scenery (Eiffel Tower for example) like the Parisian painters on the sidewalks of Paris. Others can make origami animals or fans as a tribute to Japan. Make "banderitas" or those different colored triangle shaped papers tied together to bring in the feel of a fiesta in Spain. If your question was more detailed, I could give you more suggestions really appropriate for your event. But hope this helps as well!

Great ideas! I love the flags and photos of different culture's dress and food. How about playing music from different cultures in the background during the festival? You might even want to have a display of different kinds of musical instruments.

And since this is posted in preschool, I assume it's for a preschool age group and maybe parents. How about a display of books that represent ethnic diversity, so that parents can see how we teach acceptance of differences to young children!

If you have different cultures represented in your classroom, be sure to ask parents for their input for activities, decor, food, etc.

I love the rainbow idea. It is, after all, a small world!
