Jesus demonstrated how wrong the Laws of Moses were-eg--an "eye for an eye" was wrong,"giving your enemy no peace" was wrong,stoning an adulteress to death was wrong etc--so why do Christians associate their God with the monster of a deity that the Jews created???

These are Christians who try to escape from freedom. Jesus said, "You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free." As long as people see God as a Santa Clause, making a list and checking it twice they are creating God in their own image and their God is too small.
As long as they have lots of rules, and even more rules to explain how to keep those rules they are happy. Freedom is difficult. In freedom, one has to be responsible for their own actions and choices instead of making God or others be responsible for what we do.
It's a cop out.

Let's try not to be so ignorant here. You're buying into the very mindset about the Jewish God that the Christians have TAUGHT YOU. It's not true. Go and learn.
Eye for an eye NEVER meant that if someone puts out someone else's eye, their own eye must be taken out. It meant, just as it means today, that the person must pay MONETARY compensation for the eye they caused the other person to lose.
Stoning an adulteress to death, same thing. It's called a FAIR TRIAL, no woman was stoned to death for this, there is no record of it ever happening, no documentation that it ever happened, and in fact there were so many safeguards put into the law so that this WOULDN'T happen, that it never did.
What do you know about the water that she had to drink in the Temple? Nothing? I didn't think so.
I don't expect you to have any clue about Jewish law then, or now actually, but please don't spout such ignorant crap without at least investigating first, because you sound just like the Christians who have no clue.
This is also one of the ways that we know that the story of jesus in the new testament is crap. If Jesus was actually a Jew, he would CERTAINLY have known that these laws do not mean the definition that you gave them here, and he would not have taught that they are wrong because they were, and are, extremely fair and just.
As far as giving your enemy no peace, I guess you'd rather sit down and allow your enemy to come in, rape your wife and daughters and take your house and property and kill you? Sure!
Just sit there and turn the other cheek, which, by the way, was a GREAT way for the church to teach people to sit still while they came in and murdered them by the thousands or forcibly converted them. Turn the other cheek while we burn you at the stake, or flay the skin from your body using whips with metal tips, or toss you into burning pitch, just turn the other cheek, don't resist.

In Judaism, when you know an enemy has sworn to come and kill you, you go out and kill him first, so that you keep yourself, your family, and your home and your community safe. Something wrong with that? Not if you want to HAVE a wife, home, and community, there isn't.

how wrong you are. Jesus preached Pharisee Judaism, which is very similar to how Jews live today. What you read about Jesus was written 50-100 years at a minimum after he was crucified. A lot of what is credited to him is hearsay and folklore. So learn history and you may be able to be less anti-semetic in the future

Hmm, lets see we had the Old Testament, its really old and we are better off not living in that era.
Then came along the New Testament, an easy way to get to heaven!
Its been more than 2000 years since we have had the New Testament, now it to is out dated so we are in need of a Modern Testament (most likely God will release it in digital format)! The God in this testament will not be that cruel, I hope.

You are in error. Yahshua never said Torah was wrong, nor did He say He would change anything. He came to FULFILL not change.
If you have eyes to see....
Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Mat 5:38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
Mat 5:39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
Look up Exodus 21:22 if you seek understanding.
As for John 8, the adulterous woman could not be stoned for her crime for TWO REASONS, both given in Torah: 1)There had to be 2 or 3 witnesses to the adultery, AND 2)the MAN whom she committed adultery with had to be JUDGED(stoned)WITH HER. NEITHER were present, so Yahshua pardoned her...GO AND SIN NO MORE.
God is only cruel in your eyes because you will NOT BE OBEDIENT to His Laws.
Yahshua and the FATHER are ONE.

The Bible is a history Book--If you choose to do away with history--I guess that what a Darwinist would try. I would rather say I can't explain what God did or why--but one day I will know and that is a source for Faith. I trust my God., If you choose not to that's OK.

Do you mean that monster of a deity that condemns NO ONE to eternal torment? Or do you mean that monster of a deity that would never allow the sacrifice of ANY human, especially the sacrifice of His own son?
We don't interpret your book (NT) without ever having read it. Why would you presume to interpret our book (Tanakh & Talmud) without ever having read it?

Becouse they are still clinging to the " its one continious story" bs. It seems people are more interested in history than morally acceptable, ethical, loving, and logical practice.
