I am having problems uninstalling Splinter Cell Double Agent on my PC?

I have Splinter Cell Double Agent installed onto my computer, but it's messed up and not working so I tried to uninstall it. But when I click Uninstall, it says it can't find the install button, and asks if I would like to browse for it. When I find the install button, it starts the installation wizard! When I go to Start>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs>Double Agent, I click Remove, but nothing happpens! Has this happened to anyone before, and if so how did you uninstall the game??

Go in to safe mode and manualy delete the soft ware by throwing it into your trash can and making sure it gets emptied.
