To be nice to you why don' t you have a friend that can motivate you to stop smoking. Try doing other activities to keep your mind of smoking. Also, if you continue to smoke just be positive and keep on trying. Rome wasn't built in a day so you have a great chance of stopping smoke but you have to remember you have to want to stop smoking. Aloha.

Ask your doctor about stop smoking products. Most are covered on your medical insurance. And I think you may qualify to pay less on your auto insurance if you quit.Ask your agent.
The Bible says to treat our bodies like temples. It does not say to not drink, "but to not get drunk with wine".Look at the fruits of the spirit in the Bible. One of them is Self Control .
Have your church pray over your addictions and to assist you
in not giving into temptation.Talking to a Pharmacist can be helpful too. They can suggest a regiment of quitting gradually
with the help of the stop smoking patch or gum that can be very painless and successful.
Get involved in a fellowship group regularly at your church. If you are with those who do NOT drink and smoke then you will not be inclined to do so. Being with other Christians on a regular basis encourages Godly behavior. I will be praying for you to be successful.

I don't want to tell you anything wrong first of all, but I feel that being a christian does not all consists of being good. As far as we're concern regarding drinking and smoking are outward appearance, but don't you know that God sees the heart? That's good that you are trying to quit, God will help you to over come anything, be strong and continue to ask God to deliver you from your bad habits. God bless.

Have someone help you to get anything that would tempt you out of your house. Stay in your house for four or five days, even up to a week if you have to. Eventually, you will not want these things and you will no wonder need them.
Have people that are close to you pray for you and I will pray for you also.

Some churches offer a quit smoking program.
Most also have Alanon & AA programs.
Just ask for help, it's out there.
Easier than trying it alone.

Don't ever give up! You need to allow Christ Jesus to be the Lord in your life....Ask him for help with these things! Cry out to Jesus, he will help you! Jesus Christ set me free of a Methamphetamine addiction, and a nicotine addiction (after smoking for 13 years!) He can do the same for you! If you would like more information on how to ask God for help, or how to get closer to Him, please feel free to email me.... I love to see God working in His people! Good Luck and God Bless You! I will be praying for you!

pray without ceasing...give all your problems to God. Ask God to give you the strength you need to slow down or quit. Dont quit two habits at once. That can be quite overwhelming. Quit one first...then after you have that habit kicked then begin quitting the next one.....take it slow and easy. One day at a time.

Set a quit date. If its not that easy for you then maybe you should join a support group. You can find one on craigslist.com.

If you are serious about quitting there is professional help available. Consider talking to your physician, there are meds that HELP you to quit--but most of it will be up to you.
