Every religion believes they practices the will of god. As humans how do we know which one of the scriptures are the correct. I don't understand how people believe that reading the text of printed words as god has spoken to them.

Your question isn't completely clear, but here goes...

I don't think that religion has the stuff to destroy or replace our political systems of today. There was a time in the past, however, where this could have taken place anywhere in the world and in fact did in some countries where theocracies were firmly established as theocratic monarchies.

Politics, on the other hand, could muster the stuff to subdue religion or stifle it terribly.. The result would probably not destroy it completely.

As for destroying the world... I don't think that will happen... the world will survive.

I do fear, however, that another great war may be on the horizon and that it will be comprised on one side by a singular theocratically lead people and opposed on the opposite side by a multi-political group of mixed countries with mixed beliefs....

(I suggest you keep both eyes focused on the middle east and Islam.)

"do u think religion will destory the world or politics?"

No, religion, or the major ones, will drift away and finally vanish in a hundred years, as our great-great-great grandchildren further embrace technology and science and learn more about the universe and Earth. I'm reluctant to say it, but science is not a friend to the Bronze Age god of illiterate desert nomads.

In regards to the environment, the answer is Yes. Organized Religions could care less about the environment and to top it off classify all the beautiful creatures of the world as beasts. Organized Religions are the root of all evil and should be banned. I hope this helps. Best Regards, M.G.S.

2Pe 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
2Pe 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
2Ti 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2Ti 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
2Ti 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2Ti 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
2Ti 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
2Ti 3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

This is how you were described by the bible. You understand it very well so that you will not be called ignoranbt about God.

Religion will destroy the world, politics will try to stop it.

Islamic countries, mainly Iran, have made it no secret they want us dead because we support Israel. It will be religion who starts the war, but politics that will finish it.

They will declare a Jihad against the US or Israel, we will fight, our allies will fight...why? Not out of religion, but protection of what we think is right, the protection of our political system.

Guided by the spirit of God.

Man does not need these things to destroy anything he is evil from his youth. He beats around the bush and decieves man into thinking he has jumped in....How can two walk together unless they agree. A house divided can not stand. God gives understanding without him we just assume.

No, the world (earth) can take care of itself. What will be destroyed are those that have taken God out of their lives and put Him into politics which also means politics will be destroyed.

When Jesus comes back he will defeat those that are destroying the world and we shall live in peace for a thousand years

Revelation 20: 1And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

2And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

3And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

4And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
