My friend who is 15 (guy) has 3 older brothers and 4 younger siblings, his father was sent to jail for abuse and there mother is in the hospital sick so due to the conditions his older brothers 20, 22, 23 are allowd to ground him. there really nice guys and there all very close , but hes been really getting into some bad stuff. do you think that he should be punished by them?

yes he allowed to be punished as they are over 18

Since they are taking care of him while his parents are away and he is probably going to get in serious trouble if no one does anything then I would say yes, they should punish him. I dont know how they would do it but they are apparently responsible for his actions since he is a minor child.

Because you're not an older brother and in charge of the household then I would think that it's none of your business.

If they are his legal gaurdians right now, then they have every right, as long as they are not abusing him!

yes, they are his guardians and he is lucky they take the responsibility for him
