It had left over chicken in it - Would you keep the chicken? There does not appear to be any glass in it.. but the pyrex bowl is clear glass!

I am assuming the bowl shattered.. I would not eat the chicken. Not worth the risk of ingesting glass shards.

Did the glass bowl break? If it did, I would not keep the chicken, but if the pyrex bowl just dropped and it was not broken than the chicken can be saved. :o) I hope this answers your question.

We had a potluck and the party who brought chicken adobo in her Pyrex reheated it on the electric stove and it cracked.

When in doubt, throw it out. Your health is worth a lot. Just as fiberglass can cut tissue, so can tiny pieces of glass ingested.

Did the bowl even break? People are assuming it did, but Pyrex bowls are really sturdy, if you're worried throw out the chicken, otherwise rinse it lightly and put it back in the bowl.

No, don't keep the chicken, it isn't worth it. If you have even tiny bits of glass in it, it can damage your stomach and gut, if it gets past your teeth, that is. Biting on broken glass is not good, I did it once and it really hurt, then I needed some dental work.

Don't take any risk and throw the food away.

If I invited you over for lunch and served you chicken, and then told you it had been in a bowl that had broken but no glass appeared to be in it--would you eat it???? Answer that, and you have your answer.

Absolutely not. Throw the whole thing out unless you want to risk a trip to the ER.

MUCH better safe than sorry later.

Throw it all out. It would be horrible if anyone ate some of the glass and it tore up their throat or intestines. It's not worth it.

Chicken is so cheap, it is not worth the stress of wondering. Pitch it in the trash, not to pets.
