Just a few questions... that seem to be a bit puzzling to me over these past few days...

1.How old were you when you had you had your first bf/gf?
2.Did you tell your parents/friends about him/her?
3. At what age do you think is suitable for someone to have a bf/gf? (opinion question)
Thank-you for answering in advance.

well, I avoided it for reasons of my own, so I'll just say that now it'll be above teens. as I am. Gf and Bf are titles, they are nothing, it is all who it is, not calling them this or that. I could call anyone my gf, and even if they agreed, that doesn't mean anything, unless she means something to me, and I to her, you don't just call it in the air....I have heard some filthy things that .....horrid, I can't beleive they were ..planning to break four girls hearts for sport. right after their last bf left them. I remember the words, and it was horrid...'get them to trust us and then break up and watch their hearts break' was the last line..I spoke up..but you have to be carefull in this...don't hurt people, you never know how hard people take it.
sorry...I don't take that title lightly, seems I told you...just rememberit's the person, don't even think about titles, just them, and who they are and feel. Be kind.

I will, and would have, no matter what, believe it or not, it makes life easier to trust parents and to listen to them (at least mine, and most, even if it's not what you want to hear)

18 would be lowest, and 16 before you start dating...now a days twelve year olds say they have bf/gf and don't know what it means, it's scary how it's happening.

that's my input, hope it helps, and good luck.

1. 13 years old I had my first boyfriend
2. After the boy asked me to be his girlfriend i immediately took him home to meet my mom, and family.
3. I think between the age of 13 to 16 you should just go on dates: Movies, bowling, the mall, simple stuff. At age 17 and up is when you can start to date more exclusively. Find a nice girl or guy to spend a nice amount of time with.

Teenagers like to think they have a bf/gf at like 13. But they don't go to each other's houses because their parents don't know. My first "real" bf was at 16, and yes I told my parents. I think 16 is a good age to actually start dating.

1. I am almost 21 years old and have never dated anyone (and no, there is nothing wrong with me...lol)
2. n/a
3. Everyone matures at different times. It's hard to pick an age and say that is the right one. I think to date someone you should be mature enough to totally (or at least mostly) understand what it takes to be in a relationship.

I hope that helps!

1) 13
2) Noopppeee - they would have just embarrassed me!!
3) Whatever age they feel ready - whether it's 12 or 13, or 18 or 19. Some people are more mature than others - as long as they are sensible, age isn't really that important!

I was 14 years old and all my friends knew him. My parents meet him. I believe you are old enough to have a bf/gr when you are mature enough to handle all the problems that come with it. If you are young , school should be the first responsibility, with friends just to hang out with as a group. Should I have waited, YES. School should have come first.

I was 12 when i had my first boyfriend which is way too young to be having one cuz your still like a kid. I told my parents about a relationship i started having and still in it (16years old) But yeah i think you could start dating as a teenager like 16 and up because your a little more mature about things.
