Jesus said 'while some of you still live' not just any Apostle, Jesus Himself.
So It happened or we might as well trash the rest of the Book as garbage.
Lots of stuff happened back then which would keep the disapearance of that many people out of Roman and Jewish histories. Mnt Vesuvius, Roman Wars andrebellions and much more. The didn't have news reporters and CNN.

Last I knew there would be signs before the rapture, not all those signs have come to be yet. If you have a confirmed date as to when this happened can you let me know? I am going to be very disappointed if I missed it. Last I knew there was no definate time as we see time. I didn't see anywhere in my Bible that the rapture was going to happen on a specific day and time and year.

The Bible does not specificaly use the word Rapture... I do not know where you think that referance is from but Jesus does not mention the Rapture in His teaching... the inferance for the Rapture is taken from the totality of Scripture. Some of the book of Revelation clearly implies The Rapture... I have a clear understanding of The certainty of The Rapture of The Church which is yet to happen.... When it does occure there will not be as many going as think they will... if The Rapture occures on a Sunday morning a lot of pews, and pulpits, will still be full when it's over.

Matthew 24 Jesus Christ tells of his return immediately after tribulation in the clouds with 4 angels to call up the saints that died during tribulation.
Rev. talks about two witnesses that are killed and seen by the whole world for 3 days and then called to heaven while we all witness this.
Rev. John witness the white robes given to all those saints that died and were told that there was still a little while till their brother/sisters joined them.
Rev. Tells of Jesus second coming after the great tribulation and the great battle north of Jerusalem where the blood would be to the bridles of the horse " that is about 13 to 15 hands high"
I could go on, on, on, on but the simple thing is none of these were on CNN or in these history books that were published hence perhaps before one reads one (1) or two (2) verses in a huge book full of interesting text PERHAPS the whole texts should be read and with more effort in understanding it!!!!!???
Have a fine day and fun reading - AMEN!
