Lots of parts available for those Mustangs, not as desirable as the 1969 & 70 Mach 1 models but they do look nice fixed up. You have to ask yourself how much time and effort you want to put into it. Since the car is from Ohio be sure to check for rust & rot inside the trunk area and behind and under the back seat. Back east weather is killer on all cars if driven in the winter.

Check with places like Mustang Country online and other Mustang restorer houses, they will be able to help you a lot. I've played with old cars for years and if you want it to look really sharp you are going to have to spend some money and a $50.00 paint job is not the way to go. If you are serious spend some money and do it right. Go to car shows and talk to people in your area to find out what they did and look for Mustang Clubs, there are a lot around.

Those Mach 1's are great cars and deserve to be restored. Maybe you could do it yourself, maybe a good place to learn to weld, I hear it's fairly easy.

First of all you should have kept the Jeep.

Second of all do you have the money to properly restore the vehicle or pay to have it done? Once a restore project is started it will be an ongoing battle due to the age of the vehicle no matter what you do its still an old car. If it is restored, if you don't drive it every few days it will be a huge waste of money due to the fact that the next time you go to drive it you will have to more than likely do a ton of work to it again just to get it running. So I would say no, its not worth restoring.

Most definitely!!! What are you waiting for? Get out there and get started! Its a beautiful and strong car...everyone should consider themselves lucky to have one....only problem is that it could potentially get a little expensive, especially if you completely restore everything to like-new condition....good luck and i hope it looks great when youre done
