I was wandering if anyone knew any website you can learn guidtar for "free". Has anyone ever found one? I'm preety much trying to teach myself b/c I don't have any money for lesson's or a "good" DVD. Is there anyone out there who has learned on there own and if so how'd you do it?
Thanks

I stuck some links below from a few other times when I have asked this question, or ones similar to it. You should find everything you need here, and if you don't give me a yell and I'll hunt up whatever is missing. Good luck.

I don't belive that you can teach yourself for free. You might need to just start with a few decent books and work your way from there.

But if not, just search on google "how to read guitar tab", "chords for guitar" and stuff like that. When you can read tab, can switch between chords easily, and know some strumming patterns, just search up some easy songs to learn, then eventually ( a logn time) you can play anything on this internet.

Honestly, you're better off saving money for lessons.

At least learn the chords C, G, and D. You need to learn scales also. I'm not being sarcastic, but at the book store the other day I saw a book called Guitar For Dummies. I bet it's about fifteen dollars. It's a start.
