I'm going to be going to England to join medicine with St. George's University and I'm terrified that I'll be miserable because I'll be a foreign medical graduate. Has anyone been through SGU? Can you tell me how bad the situation is going to be as a foreign med graduate? Please help. Thanks.

You'll be fine. England is full of people with different cultures and creeds, you'll soon feel perfectly at home there. You may find that some of your classmates share your background and you will make friends easily.

You must be pretty smart to have been accepted at St George's, so stop wasting your brain on worrying and start planning to enjoy yourself instead.

Congratulations.

England isn't an entirely "foreign" country. They do speak the same language as us on the whole. So that will help immensely. If they accepted you then obviously they don't have a problem with American students. It will be a bit of a new culture and surroundings to get used and getting used to their money to but if you do your best you will be fine. i am sure you will find friends who will help you get settled in.
