the lemon juice helps the color come out nice. Note: will really make hands sticky. Stickier than you think!! But its worth the color. After the lemon juice, rub your hands together to get what you can off. Use the non-sharp part of the knife to help you out. Try not to use water right away.

Just wipe it off then, it is been lengthy adequate. Probably a well factor. Either your humid atmosphere, your frame temp, your henna paste's stage of sugar, or much more likely all 3 helped your henna keep wet, that's well, as dry henna isn't freeing dye into the epidermis. So confidently you'll be able to be seeing an excessively satisfactory, darkish stain in an afternoon or 2.

I have not worked with henna in years but we always kept it moist - mostly with lemon juice - the idea was to keep it moist awhile so it stains the skin better. Just rub the dried stuff off gently.

Aren't you supposed to leave the gunk on for a few hours? Whenever I used to get them they would dry them and then tell me to wait a few hours before I rub off the gunk.

You wait until its completely dry. Then just peel it off. But you must make sure it is dry or else it will smudge and stay that way for weeks!!

you could squirt lemon juice on it so it stays longer, but after, just rub it off. yeah, that's right. rub off the gunk. nothing will happen.
