I have a FujiFilm FinePix Z1 digital camera (it's 5.1 Megapixels). Whenever I take a picture above 03M (640 X 480) then the Picture appears strange. alot of horizontal stripes appear on the image, and it becomes slightly concaved. The strange part is that if I take a picture in any resolution it appears perfectly fine in the quick preview which occurs after the picture is taken, but when I view any image taken above 640 X 480 resolution, either on a computer or the camera, then the error shows. I would really be grateful if anyone can help. Thanks

I would second that answer. It sounds like the camera is taking a good pic because quick preview is ok (the image is still in the cameras ram memory). Viewing any other way looks at the file which was written to the memory card. The image isn't getting written to the memory card properly. The card is the first thing to check.
Of course if you are not feeling lucky, it could be the cameras fault.

I would say the memory card is going bad
try a different one
