The cost, bad politics, labor interests, activist groups and lack of resources are all to blame.
The cure is simpler than most people realize.
Go after the employers that hire them and cut off all social assistance to those who do not belong here. Without the "magnet" of illegal employment and entitlement benefits, these people will simply leave on their own.
Here in Georgia we enacted some of the strictest anti-illegal laws in the country. Illegals are self-deporting and moving to more sympathetic areas. If we did this as a nation, the problem would likely take care of itself.

The cops are told to leave them alone, you can't find all of them, and the current immigration laws (which makes it a crime to sneak into this country) are not being enforced.
I'm not suggesting we go out and try to round up every illegal. That is obviously not very logical. What we should do is prosecute the ones we do catch, instead of turning the other cheek.
I think hiring more cops to combat this problem is not the solution. It's not in the best interest of the American people to have to many cops. We do not want to further strengthen the already progressing police state.

You know very well the real reason behind that...
Its the other way around..
Big bucks will STOP flowing, if you get rid of the hugue slavery and cheap labor, that lives already in the USA.....
Think about it,,,,If they were such a burden...why werent they expelled already????
Hypocresy, and big bucks.........
Cut your own grass....not ours....
If the problem is so grave, you will end up bringing cheap labor from China, Africa, and many other places...
Why dont you chain the captured prisoners of the many wars you have had, and repeat history, as you did with african slaves???
Of course, you know there is price,,,,,You are still paying already...where is the money for the KKK coming from???.

It's costly to do it. You think you could get them to pay for it?
It would average at least $500 a head to deport them.
(Because of transport, guards, and since many are in the north of the US and many don't come from Mexico.
SO multiply 12 million times 500. That's $6 billion.
At least now they do pay sales taxes and do a lot of shopping here.
I say send back the violent felons right away, but don't bother the kind and gentle people, who by the way are frequently American Indians.
(I'm Cherokee so don't give me your crap about they're all criminals just because they crossed war-carved borders hunting and garhering to survive.)
You don't want to donate to fund the $6 billion or so, do you?

Deportation. the yankee human beings have been asking the federal government to deport the unlawful aliens and decrease the immigration fee because of the fact the 1993 era. i think of we are transforming into closer and closer to the national pollinitiative, and that i believe Congress is finally questioning they'd desire to do what we've asked them to do.

They have too many "friends" who don't know where they live or don't speak English. It's not just Mexicans. Their are illegals from all countries. As someone once said, if you want to become an American citizen you should have to sign up and go off to war to prove your loyalty. Lets start a list in the local 7/11 and see how many signatures we get!

Catch and release without penalty would be expensive and pointless. Round up all 12 million and bus them home? Without sealing the border they'd all be back within a year.

Political correctness, however things are changing because the politicians know what Americans want. They know they will lose votes if they support amnesty. So we are finally beginning to see some action and get the immigrants deported.

We always have done our own work. I don't need a gardner or a nanny or any of the other invaluable jobs the illegals are doing. If I hire a house keeper I hire American.
