Some folks just like to be mean. It is easy to be mean when you don't have to face someone and you can stay anonymous.

Orcs aren't so much like trolls though. Sure, the trolls aren't very creative, but orcs hope to take mental anguish to a whole new level! Get the trolls to question their own reality and whatnot. Come on! You sayin' you don't enjoy a good bear baiting now and then? Lookit how many do it - especially in Religion & Spirituality! Lots of Christians and Atheists and Muslims appear to just FEED off of tormenting their opposites, orcs love 'em...

Some trolls just want the points, or get attention, or act out on their hate safely within anonymity. I think many of them are under 16 years of age with nothing going for them except to exert "power" in this manner.
I assume that's what you mean, and not people who simply disagree with the questioner's assumptions?

I agree that some questions are just asking for abuse, however, you bring a good point by saying that we can 'turn the other cheek'.

sorry, i have done that but when someone asks "why are there blacks in the world when Adam and eve were white?" they need a little abuse. or the girl who asked if she could take a pregnancy test on line? or the guy who had swallowed a button and thought it would give him cancer? or the guy who wanted to know how much alcohol he should give his cat to get it drunk? or the woman who was divorcing her husband of twenty years because she caught him looking at porn on the net?

I agree it can be just a points thing. But I see alot of questions worded in a way just to wind people up. These people want angry responses, they think its funny.

there are alot of opinionated pushy people out there with nothing better to do than dump all over someone else that they disagree with. some of them are insecure or scared so they find anyone they can to rip on. the best thing to do is just ignore it . and sometimes its just about getting points anyway they can.
