I have a Toyota Corolla year 1996. I was wondering if it can be added with ABS?

No, ABS is not an user-installable (or even shop installable) option.

ABS involves a bunch of wheel / brake disc sensors, a computer, and logic that can control the brake actuators. Even if you manage to find all the parts off a Corolla that had it and transplant them, the computer will have to be replaced as well, and it'd be difficult to maintain. Not worth the trouble for a 12-yr old car.

If you can locate a donor vehicle, yes. Driveshafts, sensors, wiring, computer, ABS module, master cylinder, and most of the brake lines will have to be swapped. Toyota bodies usually have most of the mounting brackets already drilled and tapped, ready to accept the "unrequested" options during initial purchase. The exact same model and year as your vehicle would not pose a difficult job.

If it doesn't come with it you can't add it. That would be a NO
