"No answers from anyone unless they are a lawyer" You're awfully demanding for somebody asking questions from anonymous strangers on a free website. In any event, you really have nothing to sue for. Paint wouldn't be missing from around your windows and the mirror knocked off simply because the maintenance guys chopped up a branch next to your car. Your car was hit by the branch, genius. This is why God invented insurance. This is also why God suggested that you not park under old trees.

This is a bit off the topic of cats. However, I have seen people do worst. I saw on the tv where a man sued his neighbors cow for mooing to much. Perhaps you could look into whose property the tree was on and maybe sue the owner of the tree. Good luck though

Actually, this happened to me. A big Oak tree fell on my vehicle during a thunderstorm. The tree was on city property. So, I contacted the city to see if they would take responsibility for damages. Later I was contacted and told it was an act of God and that they would not be liable.

Good question. I was writing last week about the chicken and the egg thing. I wrote that the chicken came first because it needed legs to cross the proverbial road and I posed the question "if when that chicken crosses the road and gets it's foot run over and it let's out a big squawk but there's no one around to hear it, is it sound?"

The tree obviously has something hateful against you.
By all means, sue the tree, and keep us updated on the outcome.

it depends if you are on private property or state property. like if your neighbors tree fell on your car then you could sue. but if you were at a state park i don't think so.

Your lucky day! You can sue the tree and the forest that you can't hear it from.
