Depends on the level you are at. If you are just starting out in your training its not that bad. You have to start somewhere. As you train more you should see that time drop. A decent time is 17 mins for guys, 20 for girls. Of course those are ballpark times and at the high school level.

Yes, someones gonna need a lot of work. I've never run cross country & I have a couple of 18 minute 3 mile runs.

it is not very bad but as a cross country runner you need to improve.try by running a mile a day and caculating your time with a stopwatch.also eating bannanas before you run is good.

It depends if you are a beginner and not experienced as much then that's good. Just keep running and you'll get better. My friend was a XC runner and she got 20 minutes so you can too!

For competition, it's not going to win a race. For a person who's trying to stay in shape, that's awesome. I am retired Navy, and your times are what I'd post in command 5K runs (3.2 miles) for most of my career. I am 6'2" and was about 235-240. Oh, and they usually asked me to play on the basketball and football teams too.

When i was in the army i use to do 3 miles in like 20 minutes.
