This sort of thing is what make people who laugh at the bible laugh out the other side of their mouth. As time passes and we find more, as we dig the bible becomes stronger, a fact people who have a passion for dismissing it have to face up to. tnx for sharing that wow :)

Why would anyone say the bible does not exist? Of course the bible exists it is a book and the best selling book of all time. Now the old testemant and new testemant are two seperate things and yes they both exist. The question you are posing tho is one of truth and on that the old and new must be seperated and would take far too long to disect than we have here. The short answer you are looking for is wheather the bible is the true word of god? That can not be answered as simply as you wish. Like I stated you would have to seperate the old and new testements and disect each part but in the end the results would be the same. The old testement is more of a historical record and can not be used to prove any of the new. Proof of the truth in the new testement lies in the heart of the beliver and proof that it is a work of man lies with the mind of the unbeliever.

The tablet doesn't come anywhere to proving the Old Testament. It is evidence that yet another Biblical character is also a historical figure. It is not evidence that this figure was actually involved in Old Testament events, and it certainly does not address the validity of the entire Old Testament, which theoretically stretches for thousands of years.
The find is definitely interesting, but not earth-shattering.

It may provide proof of one story in the Bible, but it does not prove the entire Bible.
Does the fact they found Troy prove the Illiad and Odyssey really happened? No, it just proves there was a city called Troy.
Just because one thing is true does not mean all things are true.

Just because the tablet mentions someone and their position the same as in the Bible, doesn't prove that every word in the Bible is a fact. Most fictional books and movies mention, or take place around things that really happened...

The Romans were real. Caesar was real. Therefore the Life of Brian (Monty Python) is narrating a historical event.

Many people wouldn't have a problem, even Atheist, that people in the Bible may be real, but their stories aren't.
Just because someone, whose name is even spelled wrong, was mentioned in a book, does not mean that it proves other things such as the flood or Jonah and the whale.

It is interesting. I believe as time goes on, then more evidence will be found pointing to the truths in the Bible.
