It sounds like you already have a pretty good setup. I would get an electric engraver (can be bought at a hardware store) and engrave your drivers license number on all valuble electronics in a discreet place. Also record the serial numbers on a sheet of paper. If something were to get taken then the police would have the information they would need to do a report and enter your stuff as stolen. It will also help if your stuff turns up in a pawn shop.
You may also want to make sure your bushes are trimmed well, you have motion activated lighting on all corners and near entry ways of the property.
You can take some self defense classes.
There is also private security consultants and companies you can contact for more information and possibly having a guard check your property at regular intervals.

Thank you for describing the location of your house and the type of alarm you have. That will make it easier to disable when we come to take the valuables.
Actually, I am not a thief and have no idea where you are. There is no perfect method of preventing theft, but publishing the information you did is a step in the wrong direction.

Well yo have a gate and an alarm system. Sounds like you are doing ok. The only way to be more protected is to get a gun. At night, always leave a visable light on.

A dog, especially a large dog, are listed as the best crime prevention method. Most burglars are not all about be caught and dogs make noise. Dogs also do damage. Most burglars tend to want to get in and out as quickly and quietly as possible. Dogs hinder this.
Motion lighting, security systems, and your dog are truly the best answers to such problems.
