I have a wonderful job and great bennies but nothing lasts forever...and I have been told that I have great legs and smile and that I should get into MODELING...but honestly I would settle for anything lucrative just so long as I get to be me femme self and enjoy doing whatever it is I do for work...

First, does anyone have any idea where I can start as far as a modeling gig goes? Do you know of any agencies in the Massachusetts area and how does one get taken seriously...

Second, what other jobs could I go for that would prove to be worth while...I am NOT looking at stripper or drag queen so don't even go there...I was thinking more along the lines of secretary or data entry to be more specific...something legit and something I can go home at night from and know I made an honest living...

I would really appreciate any ideas and advice on this subject...and thankx in advance !!!

ok I'll be totally honest here .... not nasty, just honest. UNLESS you can pass muster as a female, then please do not cross-dress. I am not unsympathetic as I have a gay son BUT there is nothing worse than seeing a man dressed as a woman when they so obviously are a man. To use your words, yes they look like drag queens and the vast majority of the public will avoid them at all costs. Being a public facing role I presume this is something that both you and your employer would want to avoid as it certainly would not be good for business. Given public opinion/attitude it may be a good idea to dress as a male and discuss your gender issues when at the interview. Take guidance from how your employer feels. Being honest I think this would be the best suggestion if you really want the job. Also IF they are totally unsympathetic to your issue then you may not want to work in such a place anyway. It all depends on how strong your feelings on this are. Sorry but you're not really going to find that many people are empathetic or even sympathetic to your issue. I applaud you for being the individual you are, and for having the confidence to come out in the open re this but I am sure you also realise that public opinion does go against how you feel. The public are more accepting of gays than cross dressers and tend to hold you up to ridicule - I am sure this is something you wish to avoid. IF you can pass as female then yes your chosen outfit sounds fine. As for make-up, keep it light and natural. NO reds or bold blues etc. If you can remain VERY cleanly shaven all day then yes some light foundation and blusher, otherwise avoid these at all costs. Good Luck !

Retail sales at a store that sells romantic merchandise like marital aids. The customers are all adults and in a store that is likely to sell embarrassing things and they came in anyhow so nothing should shock them and for some it may make it a better experience if they are buying embarrassing things for themselves.
You could start your own store someday selling things for cross dressers. I knew someone online who's wife did custom sewing of things that were feminine but sized for men teem up with some sewers and research your market then maybe have fashion shows in your own store.
