I heard any permanent mark you make on your body might as well be the mark of the beast, is that true?

no its not true ... but a person should realize that their body is a gift from God and shouldnt alter it .. the body is also the temple of the Holy Spirit and its said that those that destroy the temple of God, God will destroy ...

Well that all depends on your faith. Some religions may believe that you will burn for that. Personally, I am a Christian and I have two tatoos and am confident I am going to heaven. I believe that all you have to do is ask for Christ's forgiveness, it does not matter if you have any marks on your body. If you say a permanent mark is the mark of the beast, then that could be interpreted as ear piercings as well.

No it is not true. The Mark of the beast is a pledge of loyalty to the Anti-Christ. Most likely it will be a computer chip embedded in the skin for identification purposes.
The physical body does not enter into heaven, those that do go to heaven will get a new body that cannot get sick or pass away.

I can't tell you whether one would go to heaven or not because of a tatoo, that is for God to decide but I can't see a Godly person missing out on heaven because of one little mistake. God is not that petty. I do know that the bible says that we are not to mare, pierce or mutilate our bodies.

I think the religious' beef with tats is that it ruins your sacred temple (body.) I don't think it keeps you out of heaven.
Personally, if I believed in that whole mark of the beast thing, I would say it is already here with our social security numbers and credit.

the mark yes, of the beast. I don't believe tattoo's will keep anyone out of heaven ...There are to many christian out there who had a free life at one time and got tattoo's but then they changed their life style and now are serving God.

dude i dont think so youre body is your temple and personaly ive never seen any temples that didnt have artwork in them. but i doubt a satanist will get through the gates of heaven anyway

No, a tattoo will not keep you from entering Heaven, but not accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior will.
