1. They can but probably won't
2. Yes, but they are VERY high in calcium so very sparingly
3. Again, very sparingly and small pieces.. a whole lot of sugar in bananas. THey can east the peel too
4. I don't know about the skin, but kiwi is high in vitmain C
5. If by capsicum, you mean bell peppers, then the seeds are ok. Most will usually eat around them. I'd remove the stalk though. Capsicum means different things depending on what country you live in. Avoid any hot peppers.

The common rule is that ALL fruits should be fed sparingly. There is too much water content and sugar in fruits. Occasional treats of fruit are ok.

A really good, cheap (if you have a yard) source of vitamin C is in dandelion leaves; it has far more than oranges and many others you might normally think are high in C. I give my guinea pig a big handful of grass with some dandelion leaves almost every day, and veggies/fruit several times a week. I have to think that is more natural for their gut than pellets all the time. Just don't let them get fat, they get lazy and that's not good for them. There's a really good book on guinea pigs out there, can't remember the name, but it is in a series that covers all small animals and you can usually find them in pet stores. After 16 yrs with guinea pigs, I still refer to my book!

When feeding fruits and vegies to a guinea pig, try to pick those that are high in Vitamin C content. Along with supplementing Vitamin C, this will help insure your pig receives adequate amounts. Some good choices are green or red bell peppers, tomatoes, orange slices (with skin is ok if washed), kiwis, kale, and spinach leaves. Carrots with stems are Ok for treat. They might like bananas as a treat (remove peel).
