If some would research the source of "said militia" they would find that it was comprised of the settlers (CITIZENS) of the colonies, not a military or government organization. It's OK, if/when TSHTF they will be looking at us for help...maybe from "their" own government.
I have a few toys lying around...
Kimber Eclipse
Taurus PT101
Remmington .30-06 (Model??)
AR-15 S/A
My wife has her own, as well. Lack of firepower in my household is not a problem. By the way. She was the first one to buy a gun, not me!
A few Crossmans and a Daisy.

Of course Americans deserve the right to bare arms! It isn't the gun that kills, it's the dumb *** behind it that kills. Punishments regarding gun crimes should have tougher penalties and it is time to stop giving criminals life in prison and start giving them the death. It cost more money to house an inmate than anything else. Why should a convicted criminal who took the life of someone be given a room, bed, and 3 hot meals a day with medical. If they are convicted of killing someone with a firearm then they should sit on death row no more than 4 weeks, then lethal injection. If this were the case, gun crimes would go down big time. Even if we take away the right to bare arms, criminals will use other methods and other weapons to cause harm. Then you still have to worry about a black market that is already fairly large. There are more crimes with firearms now because Americans are lax on our laws and always seem to feel sorry for a murder! I'm sorry but if someone killed my wife and child, I'm not sure that I would allow the judicial system to enforce punishment. An eye for an eye and a life for a life. If you kill, you should die! Death row is vacation for most criminals.

Hi, I am 14 years old and I have 4 rifles, they are:
Savage Model 111 30-06 Spring.
Sporterized K98 Mauser, 8mm
CVA Buckhorn Magnum .50 Cal. muzzleloader
Winchester Model 67A .22 LR
In my opinion, that is a pretty good selection of rifles for someone my age who can't even buy their own yet. Also, you have some nice guns.

Devin.. I wont list my guns but the Supreme court has decided the issue of the second amendment. They say it does mean citizens can be armed. Now unless you have authority over the Supreme Court, your wrong.. You argument has been just that for many years. No one is requiring you to arm yourself or own firearms. Someday you may get your wish that no one is allowed firearms but currently that is not the case.
